The College traces its origins to September 1, 1886, when business educator H.S. Goldey opened the Wilmington Commercial College with only five students.
Goldey-Beacom College is a private college offering associate, bachelors, and masters degrees in all areas of business. Located outside Wilmington, Delaware conveniently near Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York, the College has a proud tradition of academic excellence and building solid careers for tomorrow’s business leaders.
Degrees offered in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Computer Information Systems, International Business, and Management Information Systems, to name a few. The MBA degree is offered with concentrations in financial management, information technology, human resource management, marketing management, as well as a comprehensive MBA degree. Goldey-Beacom College also now offers the Masters in Management degree. Over 1600 students are enrolled for academic credit at the College.
Scholarships:
The College offers a wide variety of academic and merit scholarships to academically talented students. Scholarships are awarded annually to students who meet GPA and SAT or ACT requirements. In addition, some scholarships are awarded based upon state or city of residence or selection of college major.
Scholarship review is part of the Admissions process. When a student has submitted an application for admission and provided the proper documentation, i.e. Official high school transcripts and SAT scores, their application will be evaluated for admission to the College and scholarship eligibility. In addition to scholarships, the College offers a variety of grant programs. G-BC grants are based upon need and are awarded as part of the Financial Aid process after the student/family has filed the required FAFSA.
Scholarship award amounts vary, but are typically renewable for 3 years based upon successful academic performance at Goldey-Beacom College. |
