Forty years of history. An epic in the field of training and research.
Who could claim to be legitimate, the initiator of the computer training in Algeria and in neighboring African?
One day in November 1969, CERI (Centre for Studies and Research in Computer Science) was born. He helped train dozens of frameworks for public enterprises and state administration, a few years after independence.
Could we not then be proud and proclaim to anyone who will listen that CERI was the sole provider of an entire generation of IT for national development and computerization of our government and economic enterprises, banks etc.. ?
Segment academic missing at CERI he was awarded in 1984, when the center was elevated to Training Institute of the University of Algeria.
During this period the National Institute of Computer Training legitimized the word "research" of his predecessor, CERI.
Post graduation was born. Research laboratories were born. The INI went out of its isolation to distinguish itself by its knowledge and expertise in computer training. His disciples amplifièrent his fame throughout the world.
Is there any country around the world where there is no "INIens?
In 2008, a new destiny was assigned at INI. Our institute is now a high school. Others will say, perhaps, better than what we ESI. But let's be certain that the ESI carries the symbol of success and perseverance in computer, it will participate for a long time to develop it and that its goal remains to train competent evidence capable of meeting future challenges and contribute to national development.
The missions are set itself the ESI:
Training in engineering graduation in computer science.
Training in first post-graduation, for two years, open to graduates of engineering in computer science to obtain a Magister in Computer Science.
The second training post graduation in four years, open to holders of a magister computer for obtaining a doctorate in computer science.
Attend industry and professional in the field of social informatization.
Perform and promote scientific research in the areas of technology, including information technology and communication, cooperating with research centers and universities nationally and internationally.
Continuing education for the development of business executives.
The orientation of new graduates to academic institutions, which is a nationwide operation.
The Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique trains engineers in computer science.
After a common core of two years, two options (INIDE two years each) are offered to students admitted: IS (information systems) and SIQ (computer systems). The choice is made from the third year the basis of marks obtained and availability by specialty.
Option: Information Systems
The aim of this specialty is to train software engineers capable of assuming and / or participate in any project analysis, design and implementation of information systems in organizations and enterprises .
The teachings cover the following areas: Analysis and design of information systems (methods, models and tools support); Systems organizations; tools decision support (data analysis, optimization tools, ...).
Option: Computer Systems
The objective of engineering education in computer systems designed to provide the future engineers the basic concepts from computer architecture, application software, through operating systems and information technology and communication.
This option is not intended to be a specialist engineering technology or a given platform, but aims to provide the essential knowledge that will enable him to quickly understand the technical problems it will face in the industrial or research and develop effective solutions in terms of quality and cost.
The fifth year
It consists of an internship for a period equivalent to one academic year (October-September). The student is required during this period to realize a software project (the memory and the application developed) in which he will put into practice the concepts and concepts learned during the four years academic.
Are allowed to year than those students whose overall average is greater than or equal to 10 and satisfying the following condition: The average area must be greater than or equal to 10 or 70% of the average promotion material without any time to be less than 05/20.
Conditions for success
The knowledge assessment shall be done through written tests, tutorials and / or practical work, and possibly presentations and trainings.
A compulsory written test per subject is planned by management studies at the end of each quarter.
The overall average per subject is calculated on the basis of marks obtained in written tests, practical work, presentations, project or any other form of assessment deemed relevant by the teacher.
Students are informed of these provisions at the beginning of each academic year by the professor.
The grading system is applied to zero (0) to twenty (20) for all subjects.
Students not admitted and justifying an overall average greater than or equal to 07/20 must report to the examination session held in September (catching up). The session focuses on subjects where he obtained an average of less than 10/20. After the second session, the overall average offset is calculated from the best grades in June and September.
The jury deliberation is composed of all teachers. He sits in June and September each year. Its mission:
