In the beginning of the 70’s a group of young professionists discussed the challenges that Mexico was about to confront to incorporate with success to a global environment which is each day more competitive.

Under this context we developed a mission which integrates all our goals for the future University, to form professionals, always in search for better quality, serving our society and creating the conditions to contribute the development of future graduates as good people who serve our society.

In 1974 Universidad Xochicalco opened its doors with 60 Medicine students in the City of Toluca. In september 1974 the University moved to Cuernavaca, Morelos.
