2008
It's called the first generation of dentists UANDES.
Construction begins Clock Building, which houses the Faculties of Law and Economics and Business.
Approving the engineering career in Computer Science, issued by the Faculty of Engineering.
It starts the Bicentennial Project "Chile in Four Moments", which includes the movement of historical booklets made by the Institute of History, The Mercury and Enersis.
Addresses are created Academic Advising, and Graduate and postgraduate students, in addition to the Research Council.

2007

University receives accreditation for five years, by the National Accreditation Commission (CNA).
Received his Ph.D. in the first three graduates of the Doctorate in Law from the Faculty of Law.
Begins the first Master of the School of Communication: Masters in Screenwriting and Audiovisual Development.

2006
Inaugurated the new headquarters of ESE Business School, University, of 7,300 m2 in its first stage.
Begins the first Master of the Faculty of Engineering, Master of Applied Geomechanics Mining.
This starts the internal assessment work for Institutional Accreditation Process of the University, by the National Accreditation Commission.
It makes the process of Institutional Strategic Planning 2007-2011 with the participation of the Superior Council expanded, Academic Council, teachers and directors of administrative and support units.

2005
It begins to impart the Civil Engineering Electrical Toddler Education and History, and the two baccalaureate programs. The Law School opened the Insurance Law Center and the Center for Environmental Law.
Establishing the Center for Business Economics.
It starts the first version of the Master of Health Administration and Management and History and Cultural Heritage Management.
The Psychology course entitled to their first class of 30 students.
In San Carlos de Apoquindo Campus begins the work of ESE Building, School of Business at the University.
On the campus of San Bernardo was inaugurated the first stage of the dental clinic, equipped with 20 dental chairs.

2004

Medicine joins the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Chile (ASOFAMECH). This becomes the first private schools to start the accreditation of postgraduate students.

The Ministry of Education recognizes the full autonomy of the Universidad de los Andes.
Establishing a Civil Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
Begin postgraduate Medicine: Cerebrovascular Disease and Pediatrics.

2000
Start the ESE (School of Business at the University) with the Advanced Management Program Enterprise (PADE).

1999
Opening of the School of Psychology and inauguration of CentroUniversitario of Medical Specialties (Cueman) in San Bernardo.
The Faculty of Medicine postgraduate open Ophthalmology and General Surgery.

1998
The Faculty of Medicine postgraduate initiates the Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics and Traumatology.

1996

Campus Official Opening of San Carlos de Apoquindo.
Opened the Institute of Family Studies.

1995
Transfer of the first races at Campus de San Carlos de Apoquindo.
Opens the Faculty of Engineering, Civil Engineering Courses Industrial.

1994
Construction begins on the University Campus in San Carlos de Apoquindo.
The Institute of Philosophy begins the Ph.D., in partnership with the University of Navarra.

1993
Establishing the School of Journalism and Services Administration.

1992
Birth of the Faculty of Economics and Management, School of Nursing and Basic Education.

1991
Opens the Faculty of Medicine and the Institute of Philosophy.

1990
Begin studies in the Faculty of Law.
