The Positive University is the institution of higher education comes from experience of three decades of the Positive Group. The University originated in Colleges Positive Positive in 1988. The institution offered five undergraduate courses, two courses of expertise - Postgraduate Sensu Lato - and an MSc in the field of institutional administration, in agreement with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul
Ten years later (in 1998), the Positive Schools were transformed at the Centro Universitario Positivo, thus offering 18 undergraduate courses. In 2000, the Institute moved its campus to an area specially designed and built from 410 thousand square meters in the neighborhood Long Field, in Curitiba, providing the academic comfort and convenience, as incentives for charitable or professional activities aimed at local communities.
In 2008, the Ministry of Education authorized the transformation of the Centro Universitario Positivo (UnicenP) at the University. Today, Positive University has an area of 422,400 m2 and offers 49 undergraduate courses, (30 Bachelors Degree courses and 19 courses Technological College) two PhDs, four master's programs, dozens of programs Specialization and hundreds of MBAs and Extension programs.
Authorization Acts
Decree No. 243 of 17/12/1998 - Centro Universitario Positivo accredits the Center for Positive Higher Studies, headquartered in Curitiba, Parana State.
Ordinance No. 1313 of 18/05/2004 - Reaccreditation of the University Center Positive.
Ordinance No. 171, 30/01/2008 - Registration Positivo University.
