UFSC TROPHY 50 YEARS - COMMUNICATION
In these fifty years of history, the Federal University of Santa Catarina could count on the support of several major media outlets of Santa Catarina, always ready to impart information on the scientific and cultural institution. As a result, UFSC will consider such vehicles with 50-Year Trophy UFSC - Communication, a recognition of this valuable contribution of the media. In this ceremony there will also be the DVD release of "Meeting of Deans 2010" program that included the presence of deans who have led the University during the course of his efforts in front of the rectory, and who rely on their impressions of the historical moments they lived. The program will integrate the program guide from TV UFSC. Dec. 13, from 17 hours in the Auditorium Garapuvu Center for Culture and Events.
BOOK LAUNCH OF 50 YEARS UFSC - PATHS AND CHALLENGES
Result of exhaustive research and a great work together, coordinated and organized by Professor Roselane Neckel and journalist Alita Diana, will be released on December 13 the book "50 Years UFSC - Trajectories and Challenges." They could rely on the collaboration of journalists, professors, and scholars of History and Journalism, who separated from the survey, interviews, production photos and images in search of photographic collections, to compose a carefully crafted work. The event takes place from 19 hours and 30 minutes in the Auditorium Garapuvu with the right to sign autographs in the lobby of the Center for Culture and Events.
FORMAL SESSION SPECIAL COUNCIL UNIVERSITY
The University Council meets in special session to pay tribute to 50 years of the institution, represented in the figures of Rectors who have been in command of the University, as well as its current and former directors. December 14, in the Auditorium of the Rectory, at 8:30 am.
UFSC FRIEND AWARD - SPECIAL EDITION 50 YEARS, 50 FRIENDS
The Special Edition of Award-Friendly UFSC this year 2010 will honor 50 servers who helped build the success story of the University over these 50 years. Each Administrative Unit and Academic chose a server and a technical-administrative faculty who exemplify the dedication and who have excelled themselves in performing their professional duties. In addition to the Award ceremony and a tribute to the retirees, the ceremony will also feature a presentation of the Coral UFSC, a show specially designed for the 50 Years of the University, to design, musical direction and conducting of Miriam Moritz. Take place on December 14, at 18 hours and 30 minutes in the Auditorium Garapuvu Center for Culture and Events.
LAUNCH OF THE PORTAL OF FORMER STUDENTS
Dec. 15, at 16 hours in the Auditorium of the Rectory, will officially launch the Alumni Portal UFSC, a channel of communication and integration among graduates of the institution.
UFSC and the University of Münster
In the year of its fiftieth anniversary, UFSC also celebrates 25 years of cooperation with the University of Münster in Germany, date to be celebrated in a special ceremony with presentation of the Quartet Cello at the University of Münster. On the occasion is also celebrated an agreement between the CAPES and the University of Münster. December 17, at 17 pm, in the Auditorium of the Rector.
MASS OF THANKSGIVING
Closing the school year and to commemorate the golden jubilee of the institution will be a Mass of Thanksgiving for 50 Years of UFSC, at Holy Trinity Parish, on December 18, at 18 hours, the anniversary of creation of the University.

GYM CLASS FOR SENIORS
As traditionally happens every month, this first Friday of the month, day 3 / 12 at 8:30 am, there was a gym class at the lake in Franklin Square Cascaes.
