In 1945 the Institute Philadelphia (IFL) , sponsor of entity UniFil , began his path of excellence in teaching from the purchase of the Gym and Londrinense Course Londrinense of maturity. Later, the two courses were merged in Londrinense College .
In 1950 the Philadelphia Institute changes its status to plead to the Ministry of Education for permission to create upper-level courses. The institution is the first to see the need to implement higher education in London and also to make such a request to the Government.
Professor Zacchaeus de Melo in 1972, took the challenge to establish the Center for Advanced Studies in London (Cesulon) , which initially offers courses in Pedagogy, Social Sciences, Psychology and Mathematics.
In the year 1980 is structured to the Graduate Coordinator, during the 80's, is now offering a considerable number of courses. Begin the research and extension.
The expansion continues and in 90 years, the courses are deployed Administration, Accounting and Biology.
From 1999 to UniFil assemble a professional team to compete in the Handball Championship in Brazil. The sport grows and becomes popular in Parana. In 2005, players of UniFil are champions Brazil.
The Ministry of Education accredits Cesulon in 2001 as the University Center Philadelphia - UniFil , presenting their students with more structure in prime location in central London. Takes over as the dean Dr. Eleazar Ferreira .
The following year, 2002, UniFil is offering London with renowned professionals, one more important option of course: Law, who also now serves the community through the Center for Legal Practice.
The UniFil expands its facilities to buy the building from Canada College in 2004. Thus, with two campuses, has space to provide better education to students.
In 2005 the Philadelphia Institute , sponsor of entity UniFil , celebrates 60 years of service to the Kingdom of God and to Brazil through education and training of professionals in various fields of knowledge.
The UniFil prepares a vertical expansion project in 2006 to expand its facilities and the deployment of more courses.
