Technical College of the Union of Victoria - School - COLTEC, located at Avenida Bento Munhoz da Rocha Neto, 3856, Phone (042) 522-1837 or 522-1685 84.6000-000 CEP and is maintained by City College Foundation Board and Sciences Economic Union of Victoria - FACE. It is, therefore, public school, but with didactic and pedagogic autonomy is administrative; Rules adopted on its own.
The Technical College of the Union of Victoria was approved at a meeting of the director of Face, on occasion, Professor Pinheiro Antônio Cândido Lopes, 19/06/1995 days, with the presence of the Trustees, Mr. Carlos Roberto Behnke, Mr. Benedict Trinity Junior and Professor Fernando Strobino.

The Technical College of the Union of Victoria - School - COLTEC-Course Data Processing Technician-Operating Permit Opinion non 540/95 - Resolution No.. 680/96, was recognized by the State Board of Education no. 406/97 - DOE no. 5110 of 10.15.1997; recognized by the Education Department, with the Resolution. 3743/97, published in DOE of 11/21/1997.
With the reformulation of Brazilian education, the new Law of Directives and Bases, Law 9394/96, the Technical College went on to take it, I became a college of high school, the final stage of basic education (art.36), leaving to have in your grid, vocational technical disciplines, going to work the skills and abilities to be targeted in the areas of Languages, Codes and its technologies; Area Humanities and Their Technology, and Mathematics and Natural Sciences and their technologies.
Authorization for the gradual implementation of the school was given by Resolution. 877/2000 of the Ministry of Education, signed on 03.17.2000, published on 13/04/2000.
As a result, the College entered the State Department of Education with a process for creating a technical-vocational course in computer science, Computer Technician, under Law 9394/96, in modules, with two years of duration, operating against turn, may be concomitant to secondary school, this primary school or another, from the second grade, or candidates who have completed high school. The school marks its presence by the quality of teaching, which includes notions of the importance of knowledge studied, responsible freedom, social participation and critical thinking. In addition to preparing the young to face a higher education, aims to give you sufficient training and competence for the job.
The school is the final stage of basic education of a general nature, which places the student in the socio-cultural-historical and economic knowledge as a producer and actor in the world of work, and the development of the person as a citizen.
