History Unifeb

The Educational Foundation was established Brusque Municipal Law No. 527 of 15 January 1973, with the creator Prof. Fr Orlando Mary Murphy, who was president oprimeiro. In the year decriação Foundation was established the School of Social Studies - ESES offering the course in Social Studies, maintained until 1987. Two years later he was offered the Science course, maintained until 1997.

In 1985, Father Peter Canisius was elected president Rauber Education Foundation of Brusque and director of the ESES, remaining in office until 1990. In 1986 he was created to study Philosophy and the following year, through partnerships with the Regional University of Blumenau, Brusque the Educational Foundation began offering courses in Administration and Education.

On October 27, 1990, was elected the third president of the Educational Foundation of Brusque and director of the School of Social Studies, Father John Hülse, who exercised his mandate until 1998. During this two new management courses under contracts with the Regional University of Blumenau were implanted, Accounting and Law.

In 1998, Prof. Maria de Lourdes Busnardo Tridapalli, was elected president ofFoundation and director of ESES that offered a course in philosophy courses and insured. That same year, through the State Complementary Law No. 170/98, the courses have agreements with the Regional University of Blumenau were transformed into their own courses.

On adapting the institution to new courses and their new reality, in April 1999, born the Center for Higher Education Brusque - CESB, aprovadopelo Opinion No. 75/99 of the State Board of Education of Santa Catarina. To improve the physical and structural, in March 2001, the Educational Foundation of Brusque opened its new campus. The CESB gave rise to the Centro Universitario de Brusque - Unifeb approved by the State Board of Education on August 12, 2003 and accredited by the Decree of the State of Santa Catarina on August 29, 2003.

Since 1998 the Institute has significantly expanded the course offerings. Inbachelor's degree with Administration, Accounting, Fashion Design, Law and Information Systems; degree with courses in Physical Education, Philosophy, History, Literature and Pedagogy, and with the clearance of Technologists courses in Ceramics, Business Management, Industrial Processes - Electromechanical, Textiles and Tourism.

Since 1998, the Educational Foundation announces Brusque Quarterly Balance. Annually, the financial statements of the institution are audited by an external audit, together with several indicators of activities that demonstrate, transparently, the results of management. This year, the Educational Foundation of Brusque discloses for the first time, its Social, another tool available to the community with relevant information about the institution.
