FATEB - Faculty of Telemachus Borba
Some years ago, going into higher education was the prerogative of those who lived or had been willing to move to larger facilities. But this reality is changing thanks to the institutions as we have here in Telemaco Borba.
In the region of Campos Gerais, Fateb is consolidating itself as a leading education institutions. Having started its activities in 2001, with only three courses, the College now has seven courses, five technical courses, postgraduate and masters degrees, also keeping the Don Bosco College of Telemachus Borba - offers elementary school and II, High School and Pre-prep vestivular.
In addition to allowing the population access to quality education, the Fateb also has established itself as a partner of public initiatives, assisting in developing various activities and programs.

History and Development of the Institution
The Faculty of Telemachus Borba (Fateb) was formed and consolidated according to the quality standards required by the Ministry of Education - MEC, being accredited by the same MEC through Ordinance 875 of 23/06/2000. The Fateb was designed by Professor Tim Wilson Pontara Joseph, who was invited to visit the city and determine the market need for the establishment of a Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Telemaco Borba.
Since October 1997 (when the idea) until 20 December 2000, when it was officially installed in town as to the entries for the Vestibular 2001, many were the work Pontara by Tim and his team. The institution's mission is "providing quality education, meeting the needs of the market" and the vision to "transform Telemachus Borba in a center of excellence in education" is being consolidated every day.
We know that the quality of life depends on a transformative education, created with skill, creativity and ethics - resulting in the development of their full potential. The transformation of a society closed the rationale for the Fateb and materialize the commitments of the entity, considering education as a basis for the development of our country. Thus, combining quality education to large installations, Fateb believed to be contributing to the training of highly qualified professionals and citizens aware of their role in society.
The Fateb, as an Institution of Higher Education, has an Institutional Development Plan (IDP) in accordance with the technical and administrative position. The evaluation of their courses, the daily work and actions of the entity's primary objective monitoring of their performance, always aiming for the quality of their services.
By complying with the provisions established by the Statute of the Maintainer and the Internal Rules of the Institution - axis that consolidate its organizational structure, Fateb seeks to refine their actions. The performance of the college forward to the opportunities offered by the Campos Gerais region, through the dissemination of results towards our community, our academics integrates the social processes of Telemachus Borba and region by providing a planned expansion and professionalized.
