The Association of Higher Education Patobranquense S / C was institutionalized on September 16, 1999, as the keeper of the Faculty of Pato Branco - FADEPA, exercising their activities in Higher Education, authorized by Ordinance 746/2000 MEC. The FADEPA has an infrastructure adequate and proper, providing all necessary means to offer a quality education for their students. The educational structure of college is spread across 13 blocks didactic, with building area 34,500 square meters.
Currently, the institution has 76 classrooms, an amphitheater with about 450 seats, a library with some 35,000 volumes, periodicals, video and computers with internet access. In addition, features modern FADEPA Computer Labs, multimedia rooms and laboratories that meet the Administration courses, Social Communication (Journalism and Advertising), Degree in Technology Analysis and Systems Development, Law, Nursing, Nutrition, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Education and Physical Education and Bachelor Degree.
The Sports Complex includes an athletics track, heated semi-Olympic soccer field, gymnasium, dance room, climbing wall, fitness to practice gymnastics and bodybuilding gym. The institution also has a modern Health Clinic, where they are allocated a school of Physiotherapy Clinic, Psychology Service, laboratories, nursing, nutrition and psychology.
The FADEPA offers ample parking with capacity for 1,500 vehicles, with safety and convenience, plus a spacious food court.
Currently, the college has eleven courses: Administration, Media (Qualification in Journalism and Advertising), Degree in Technology Analysis and Systems Development, Law, Bachelors Degree in Physical Education, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Nutrition , Pedagogy and Psychology.
The academic community is comprised of approximately 2,000 students, 100 teachers, 110 employees.
The development of research is conducted through the Center for Studies and Research, structured by knowledge areas. In the extension field, carries out projects that aim to integrate the faculty and students to the community through exchange of knowledge in different areas of graduation. The FADEPA also offers postgraduate courses, always focusing on quality education and training.
Mission and Vision
The mission is to train and qualify FADEPA citizens producing knowledge, development-oriented social, cultural, science and technology through teaching, research and extension, inserted on the regional and global levels from a Latin American perspective.
In this sense the institution intends to be recognized as a university center, gathering areas pluricurriculares knowledge, from the excellence of teaching, scientific productivity and quality of services provided.
Development of education and higher education in the area of Social Sciences and Health
Train professionals, in addition to technical and technological field, are aware of their role in society as top-level experts in the areas of knowledge that offer courses and programs;
Encourage the development of scientific, technological and cultural, through studies and researches and disclosures through publications and outreach.
To promote brotherhood and equality among citizens, so they are able to develop consciously their life projects, to achieve peace between peoples.
Search the promotion of university extension integrated into the community to the socialization of cultural property created within the institution.
Act to seek possible solutions to national and regional problems or not with the disciplines and objectives of various courses, depending on the interests of the community.
