The city of Campo Largo abuts the state capital, Curitiba, getting to 25 kilometers from the capital of Parana. Located in the First Plateau, along the BR 277, being part of the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. It has an altitude of 956 m above sea level and occupies a total area of 1,192 km2. The climate is cool in summer and frost in winter.

In the town of Campo Largo are enrolled in high school, among public and private school students in 2126. In the industrial sector there are 360 outlets installed in the city, mainly distributed in the areas of ceramics, electrical, automotive and cement, which employ mostly local people.

The industrialization has initiated a developmental stage in the metropolitan region of Curitiba and in particular the city of Campo Largo. This phenomenon pushes the demand for skilled human resources, bringing as a consequence of the migration of manpower from other cities to the city of Campo Largo.

The Faculty of Cenecista Campo Largo - FACECLA is part of the National Campaign for Community Schools - CNEC which is the most significant existing EU education movement in Latin America. This is a civil, non-profit and was established on July 29, 1943 by Prof. Felipe Gomes Tiago, Recife-PE, recognized Public Utility by Decree no. 36 505 of 30 November 1954, with headquarters in the capital of the Republic and with branches throughout the country.

According to its Statute, the CNEC has the institutional goals and objectives:

1. Providing quality education in all grades, levels and modalities;
2. Encourage and coordinate the efforts of communities to educational, cultural, social, and environmental preservation;
3. Deploy in the areas of general education and technical units to provide services, production and marketing as well as publishing, media and tourism, and
4. Develop processes to change habits for the benefit of society.

The CNEC sets in its bylaws:

"Art 10 (...) § 1 - CNEC's resources are used wholly and exclusively in the national territory and, strictly, to meet its goals statutory (....) (. ...).

12 - The CNEC unpaid members of their Boards and their Councils in all areas, does not distribute profits, benefits or bonuses to members or supporters of any form.

These principles and conditions of work organization in CNEC apply to all courses offered, ie, from kindergarten and kindergarten to higher education and to graduate.


The College President Kennedy Cenecista currently Cenecista Faculty of Campo Largo - FACECLA, was established in 1999 and started its academic activities in 2000.

The FACECLA, owing to the phenomenon of industrialization, started its activities with actions to qualify the workforce, work place, through courses in higher education, to meet part of this demand that is focused by virtue of its own technological developments the computing field.

The course provided the initial operation of FACECLA as an Institution of Higher Education in 2000, was the Bachelor of Information Systems. The Course of Information Systems at the time of his deployment was a result of the evolution of information technology in the world.
The growth of industrialization and trade has brought the population increase that generated the demand for education at all levels, especially in the area of early childhood education and elementary education.

The training of human resources to work on these levels of education, considering the extinction of the technical course of teaching, now be the task of higher education institutions to offer courses of Higher Education and the Normal. The qualification of teachers in the early years of primary education has become strategic.

The modern world requires these professionals the ability to make decisions appropriate to different cultural realities, to act collectively in schools and to overcome problems and difficulties with competent and creative solutions. They need clarity about the dynamics of society and understand the school as a social institution.

To meet the growing demand for professionals in the field of Education, Faculty of Campo Largo Cenecista began offering the Bachelor of Education in 2001. In 2003 he created the Superior Normal Course through the Institute for Higher Education Cenecista President Kennedy with an emphasis on training teachers for teaching in specialized expertise in the areas of early childhood education and early years of elementary school.
The transformations through which runs the metropolitan region of Curitiba, which creates a huge market conditions, especially in the corporate sector, because the installation of smaller companies providing services. For this global reality and to ongoing changes in society that was conceived the course of administration with specialization in Business Administration in 2002.

The Brazilian production sector and campolarguense much depends on small and medium enterprises. According SEBRAE, this type of organization responsible for a large part of what is produced in the country and generates a significant portion of income and jobs. The dynamics of these companies is reflected in the competitiveness of the sector, however, contrasts with the high mortality rate of these businesses in the first year, also according SEBRAE, 80% of small and midsize businesses do not survive their first year of life.

In this context, there is a clear need for qualified managers who can master modern tools and have incorporated into their training and entrepreneurial innovative features necessary for the conduct of these companies.

Advocacy is a dynamic activity and intellectually very challenging, which is renewed every day, because we always see new laws, numerous amendments and various ordinances, The Bachelor of Law has two main options for professional activities: advocating or following a legal career.

A law degree opens a wide range of areas of professional activities. The best known are still prevalent, including the Law and the Judiciary, the Attorney General and the prosecutors in public agencies. There are always vacancies for professionals in this field, whether in the public sector, through competition, or even in the private sector, where the nature of the law allows any Bachelor of Law to create a law firm, without necessarily making a large initial investment.

For the reasons mentioned above, the Faculty of Campo Largo Cenecista implemented the law school and in 2004 started its activities. The course seeks to form of law within society campolarguense the professional to the various professions of legal career. Thus, allowing you to choose specific areas of operation guarded their ethical commitments and the importance of advocacy and the legal profession with the principles of freedom and justice, facilitating the insertion of a professional in the new context of economic and social transformation nationally and globally.

The FACECLA has been highlighted by the quality of education offered and the seriousness of the activities. It is the only Higher Education Institution of Campo Largo, encouraging access to this level of education for young students from the city and neighboring cities that do not have nearby colleges. From the beginning, until now, the FACECLA has a highly qualified faculty and that around 70% of teachers have master's degree and 30% were specialists and doctoral students.
