Gurgacz Assisi Foundation was established in Cascavel, in October 1997. Nonprofit, is the sponsor of Assisi School Gurgacz in Cascavel and College Union Iguacu Falls, located in the city of Iguazu Falls. The Foundation aims for full human development, promoting social growth through programs of education at all levels and types of educational, cultural, sports, leisure, health, media, environment and ecology.

More than supporter of higher education institutions, the Assisi Foundation Gurgacz is responsible for citizen actions have repercussions throughout the region. Since August 2002, the organization headed by businessman Gurgacz Assisi holds the first of the programs provided by the Foundation. The Integrated Action for Citizenship was already covering the launching Rebuilding, a project meant to assist low-income children.

Currently, more than 50 children from neighborhoods Godoy Paulo and Santa Cruz, Rattlesnake, participate in the design of FAG. Are minors aged between seven and 14 years in conditions of social risk, from families of low or no income, no desirable conditions of housing, health and education.

The project works with socio-educational characteristics interdisicplinares, involving courses in Physical Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, Physiotherapy and Nutrition, colleges Gurgacz Assisi (FAG) and Don Bosco, which directly interfere with his educational proposals of the guiding principles.

The goal of Assisi Foundation Gurgacz is precisely to promote actions related to citizenship, environment and quality of life of children involved and their families. The intention is to promote changes in attitudes and behavior, gaining knowledge and open doors for s most diverse forms of culture.

Project activities also enhance awareness-raising responsible and active participation towards greening culture and education to improve their habitat and, ultimately, move actions for the promotion and health care to minors.

Social Action
Satisfaction - The brothers Cleverson and Jessica Goncalves, 11 and 12 years respectively, all in the family say they noticed differences in the behavior of the two, since it began participating in Project activities FAG. "Our parents think we are more 'good guys'," says Jessica, who is delighted with the music lessons, offered since early this year.

She says she also likes the classes of Nutrition. "We learned that it is important to wash hands and food before eating," teaches. Project improves quality of life

According attests Luciane, activities and postural reeducation techniques have proven extremely effective for improving quality of life and well-being of the elderly. "They improve the circulatory system, every joint and mobility," says physical therapist. With the possibility of activities in the warm pool of new clinics, care for the elderly will be merged with the techniques of hydrotherapy.

Created in October 1997 and is a nonprofit, the Foundation Gurgacz Assisi has a history of active intervention in the community, in providing social and educational services that contribute the most important aspects of a society such as social transformation manifestations of the spirit of democracy, ethical values and development of citizen awareness in Brazil.

The Foundation is the sponsor of Assisi Gurgacz higher education institutions and develops with the aid of the same scientific, stocks that meet your goals.
