The Cescage - Centre for Higher Education of Campos Gerais - located in Ponta Grossa - Paraná, was founded in 1999 with the goal of being the Keeper of the Law Faculty of Campos Gerais. Today, the institution has other 14 courses: Administration, Agriculture, Nursing, Electrical Engineering, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Medicine, Nutrition, Dentistry and Technological College courses in Building Construction, Environmental Management, Financial Management, Production and Furniture Production advertising, and Postgraduate courses in the areas of Agricultural, Environmental, Legal, Facilities, Management, Marketing, Health and Veterinary Medicine.
The institution has a commitment to quality education and training of competent professionals. The pedagogical project of each course is developed from a philosophical frame-didactic-pedagogic excellence, with a circular structure of the highest quality, current and committed to contemporary social needs. The faculty is distinguished by high scientific qualification and production and the library collection has updated continuously. The physical structure is perfectly suited to the needs of scholars, with clinics and laboratories with modern instruments.
The Cescage also offers complementary activities carefully designed and appropriate for the integral formation of students and agreements with various entities. In addition, the college is committed to social projects that benefit the entire community Pontagrossense.
The institution combines theory with practice and prioritises the training of academic citizenship. Examples are the work of the Dental Clinic, the Legal Office and Physiotherapy Clinic. Thus, the Cescage provides care and provides services to the community.
Every effort has turned into positive results, among them is the automatic recognition, designated by the Ministry of Education, Agriculture courses, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Dentistry, valid until 2010. The Nutrition course was also recognized by the Ministry and already training the first group got the highest grade (five) awarded by the MEC. |
