UNIVERSITY POTIGUAR - UnP, Potiguar maintained by the Society for Education and Culture - APEC, is headquartered in Natal and incorporates the Federal Education.
Founded by Prof.. Paulo Vasconcelos de Paula, in 1981, under the name College of Business Administration, Accounting and Economics - Unipec, received accreditation as UNIVERSITY in 1996 (DOU 20/12/1996), and, to date, the only private university acting in Rio Grande do Norte.
The UNP, in its Statute, is presented as "institution-forming multidisciplinary professional staff with higher education, promoting research and extension in the form of a community inspired by the fundamental freedoms."
As a trainer of professionals, the firm has UnP commitment to citizenship embodied in the ethical, social, cultural and professional. And this commitment guides the development and practice of its institutional design and the pedagogical projects it offers.
The UnP, believing in the transforming power of science and advanced technologies for the realization of human potential, became a social commitment to the sustainable development of Rio Grande do Norte and the Region:
by disseminating knowledge and technologies;
by promoting education, research and extension;
