History
The Faculty Helio Rocha, Institution of Higher Education, a private nature, arose from the need to expand successful educational experience of the course and Integral College, directed by Professor Hélio Rocha, renowned educator of Bahian society.
Starting in 1984 with the Full Course and later in 1991, the College of Integral, the leaders began in 1999, Integral Education Society, an organization maintains the School of Rock and Helio and College Comprehensive Course today, one of the largest groups work in the education industry in Bahia.

Committed to a policy action towards the quality of education for the socialization of knowledge production and to promote activities related to teaching, research and extension, the Faculty offers the community Helio Rocha Bahia four courses of graduation, in the Areas of Directors, Social Communication (majors in Advertising, and Publishing) and Information Systems, through which it aims to provide professionals to exercise their rights, roles, especially the agents of change, paying attention to regional characteristics, in a society increasingly demanding and competitive.

The Faculty Helio Rocha wants to stand out as an educational institution that was distinguished by the excellence of its services and social responsibility to the community.

Training professionals entrepreneurs, technically competent and ethically responsible, able to contribute to regional development through an education of excellence that encourages critical thinking and production of new knowledge.
Helio Rocha College aims to:
Promote the formation of the human being, according to the principles of freedom and responsibility;
Promote, through its activities of Undergraduate Studies and Graduate, Research and extension, the harmonious development and integration of local and regional community, with a view to the common welfare;
Teaching in higher education in all fields of knowledge;
Promote scientific research and developments in cultural, artistic and technological risks;
Develop inextricably activity of teaching, research and extension;
Develop critical and diffuse knowledge, by all means at their disposal;
Participate in the development effort of the country, working together with government and society for the study of international problems, national or regional and local;
Promote a cultural events that aim to integrate community-College;
Build itself into an institution open to the community, free and democratic, as a production and preservation of knowledge, culture, and history of man. |
