The largest and most complete Education Network North / Northeast

For nearly a decade, the FTC Education Network meets the mission of transforming students into professional creative, competitive and enterprising, able to act in an ethical, human and scientific society. With over 60,000 students and 3,700 employees, is now the largest school system in the North / Northeast and one of the largest in the country, making it an example of infrastructure, technology and social commitment to education, culture and research.

Commitment that is evidenced in its five units in attendance: Salvador, Feira de Santana, Itabuna Jequié and Vitoria da Conquista and a network of Distance Education which serves about 40,000 students around the country, bringing knowledge to places previously inaccessible and promoting digital inclusion and the thousands of students.

With a modern educational project, the network offers undergraduate options compatible with all the talents, ranging from traditional qualifications in medicine, dentistry, nursing, nutrition, engineering and law, to the innovative Aeronautical Sciences, Hypermedia, Film and Video, and Biomedical Engineering Mechatronics. In addition to specialization and postgraduate courses in various areas.

Continuous investments in infrastructure and technology ensure students modern laboratories, clinics, centers of practical activities and all the necessary apparatus to practice teaching. Faculty, its units have engaged professionals to the cause of Knowing: doctors, teachers, postgraduates and graduates of the best colleges in the country and abroad contribute to the formation of a solid foundation for students.

This is how the FTC works Education Network: trying to improve the quality of education in Bahia and in the four corners of Brazil. Academic Project

The institution adopts educational programs geared to market trends and values the immediate involvement of the student to the professional reality. The goal is to turn it into a national enterprise, with great possibilities of pursuing a successful career.

Teaching methodology

Learner-centered, teaching methodology network FTC uses scientific research as an instrument of knowledge and establishment of analytical concepts and lucid processors. Thus, values the formation of logical thought and critical for future professionals;
The projects stimulate the pedagogical talent, creativity and learning from those who one day will meet the exacting demands of the labor market;
By encouraging the spirit of partnership and cooperative learning environment, students learn to interact and develop projects in various segments of society.

Social Responsibility

In the field of social responsibility, the school network FTC has major projects to encourage culture, sport and citizenship, among them:

PAIRS - Artist Support Program and Sportsman
More than 70 athletes from Bahia have the support of the PAIRS. The program provides infrastructure and scholarships to artists and athletes; flexible schedules events and classes for students who participate in competitions, encourages participation in sports and exercise in poor communities concepts such as teamwork, citizenship and social responsibility.
Through these actions, students of the institution may facilitate their training and gain prominence in the reality of sports competitions, like the Brazilian University Games (Jubs) and selective for the 2007 Pan American Games.

This is a more modern and bold design of extension of Education Network FTC. Developed by the students of Communication, the FTC promotes actions of TV entertainment, education and improvement.

Neighborhood Peace Project
The FTC has developed numerous community programs. Some of them internationally recognized, such as the Neighborhood Peace Project - Station Citizenship For a Culture of Peace - considered by UNESCO as one of the best social programs in the state.

Through service to communities, the FTC develops real skills in their professional futures. For this nucleus uses practical activities.

Actions taken: advice on the declaration of income tax to exempt and support to the rehabilitation center of dependents clinical dissemination of smoking as a public health program of prenatal care, family health program, research on cost of basic goods, housing improvements to waste plastic reinforced with fiberglass.
