The FESAV is still young but experienced teachers with regard to academic and professional level and an adequate infrastructure.
Of the several positive aspects for those studying and working in FESAV, I would cite two: The first is the spirit of friendship, which allows a closeness and camaraderie between students, teachers and technical-administrative staff. The second stems from the dynamism of our body teacher who is for the commitment and application of modern teaching techniques.

The School of Applied Social Studies in Viana - FESAV, teaches the following courses:
Directors: Recognized by Decree 2111/2001. Places offered: 80 students per year. Shift: Night. Duration: 4 years (40 being offered for the first half and 40 for the second half through the selection process);
Accounting: Recognized by Decree 081/2003. Places offered: 80 seats. Shift: Night. Duration: 4 years (40 being offered for the first half and 40 for the second half through the selection process);
Education: Recognized by Decree 253/2004. Places offered: 120 vacancies. Shift: Night. Qualifications: Teaching Elementary School / Elementary, Middle School Teaching and School Administration. Duration: 4 years (60 being offered for the first half and 60 for the second half through the selection process).
