The UNIVAR - Colleges Nations Araguaia Valley is an institution of higher education which is intertwined with the recent history of Bar Herons and several surrounding municipalities of the states of Mato Grosso and Goias
Since its foundation, between 1989 and 1992, contributing to the cultural, social and economic development of the region in which they are embedded.
In line with the directives guiding the higher education in the country, the quest for quality education is the focus of changes and investments undertaken in their academic structure, didactic-pedagogic and physics.
Its educational purpose and institutional development plan are guided by a set of principles, policies and targets aimed at the ongoing training of academics and life skills training, as well as the labor market.
The UNIVAR offers all interested Courses Administration, Accounting, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, History, Education, Social Work and Technology in Analysis and Systems Development.

Provide citizen training in different areas of human knowledge by encouraging undergraduate research and extension, aiming at the inclusion in the productive sectors and development of the ability to combine theory with practice.

Consolidate itself as a referral center and teaching excellence and extent, participating actively in the development process of the Midwest.
