The Institute for Higher Education in the Midwest has the primary mission of education to train professionals, researchers and teachers, producing and disseminating knowledge for the development of a man committed to justice, ethics and the ideals of citizenship in order to overcome the challenges of contemporary global society.
The IESC has, within the courses it provides, the following objectives:
Provide a comprehensive education to academic, so to make it able to act in the community in which transformer is inserted; qualify it appropriately for the job market, give you the basic conditions for further improvement and make you aware of necessity and importance of preservation and dissemination of cultural values and scientific achievements in harmony with the spiritual needs of man;
Training professionals and specialists with higher education, including ethics training, development of intellectual autonomy and critical thinking, committed to its inclusion in the process of political-cultural and socio-economic environment and, in particular, the Federal District and Midwest region.
Encourage creative activities;
Provide extension education to the community through courses and special services provided to government, civil society and citizens to promote the preservation and development of culture, arts, sciences and technology;
Conduct exchanges with similar institutions, domestic and foreign.
Scholarships and financial aid
The Faculty of IESC is a Private Higher Education Institutions participating in the University for All Program - ProUni, which aims to grant full scholarships and partial of graduate students and sequential training.
The program is aimed at students graduating from high school in particular condition of full scholarship, or public education and family income of up to three minimum wages. Candidates are selected by the grades obtained in ENEM - National High School Examination.

The IESC is registered in the Faculty Student Financing Program - FIES, which aims to fund graduate students who are unable to afford the costs of their education and are enrolled in Private Institutions of Higher Education with a positive assessment processes conducted Ministry of Education - MEC.
To participate in the selection made by the Caixa Economica Federal - CEF, the student must be regularly enrolled in the institution and meet the predetermined criteria for the granting of cash for financing.
To be contemplated, the student receives funding for 50% of the monthly payment until the end of the course, with a grace period of 6 months to begin paying until the conclusion of graduation or termination of funding. And twice the travel time to spread the amount financed. That is, if travel time is 3 years, students have up to six years to divide the debt.
