Brief History

The group history began in 1965, when a group of young teachers joined to create a college in the city of São Paulo, in the district of São Miguel Paulista: the Colégio Cruzeiro do Sul.

With the number of students increase and new perspectives, in 1972, the higher education courses were authorized with the creation of the Higher Education School and gradually, new courses were implemented.

In 1993, the serious work and dedication return was achieved, with the Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul recognition.

In 2001, the University extended its geographic activity area, with the opening of Analia Franco campus, a noble São Paulo city district in large-scale expansion. The Liberdade campus started in 2004, in the city central region.

In October 2007, another huge step was taken, with the Centro Universitario Módulo acquisition, the largest and most traditional higher education institution in the São Paulo state north coast.
