As a university, UNIBAN Brazil is structured and organized to teach the higher education of undergraduate, graduate, extension and scientific research, according to law. Its performance provides the strengthening of the practice of integral education, research and extension. The sponsor of the Academy is UNIBAN Brazil Paulista Anchieta S / C Ltda.
The Higher Education Institution (HEI) has power to decide on various matters related to its structure, dealing more specifically on academic autonomy, educational, scientific, administrative, disciplinary and financial and asset management. This autonomy, or the ability to be governed by its own laws, is secured by the Constitution (art. 207) and the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education (LDB - art. 53), however, does not exclude forms of control by part of the government, through legislation and enforcement of specific organs of education and its quality.
