In 1970, born as the first college in Brazil to offer higher education in the area of Tourism. At that time, many did not understand the magnitude of the Tourism sector, not even his importance to the economy of the country concepts as hospitality and tourism potential have been introduced. And most importantly, we began an effective process of professional, increasingly valued by the labor market.
Since then, the pioneering brand in the history of Anhembi Morumbi, causing profound changes also in the direction of Brazilian higher education. There are many examples of courses by the Institution firsts, among them Food, Chiropractic, Digital Design and Civil Aviation - areas in which has become a reference.
In 2005, confirming its ability to anticipate trends and concern to train professionals aligned with market expectations, he joined the International Network of Universities Laureate and offer unique benefits to students, guided by international quality, multicultural education and global employability.

World University
In 2005, after extending its range of courses with lots of creativity, the University Anhembi Morumbi opens a grand alliance with the International Network of Universities Laureate - the largest and most important network of universities around the world. Since then, students at Anhembi Morumbi have been given training opportunities and acting world through unique programs for the exchange in more than 35 private institutions of higher education in 20 countries. Thus, students have an advantage as the complement of the architecture curriculum, multiple graduation, internship program, among others.
The Anhembi Morumbi serves more than 25,000 students, distributed by undergraduate courses, Bachelor of Technology, Graduate Executive, Online Degrees and Graduate Lato and stricto sensu.
New millennium
In 2001, it created the Degree of Civil Aviation, the first in the area and one in Sao Paulo. The following year, to inaugurate the Centre for Design and Fashion Anhembi Morumbi (Morumbi Campus) and Anhangabaú Valley Campus. In 2008, the University inaugurated the new headquarters of the business school - the campus Avenida Paulista, located in one of the biggest business centers of Latin America.
90's
Unpublished undergraduate courses are launched in Brazil: Fashion Business, Education, with majors in Educational Technology and Development Company, and Pharmacy, with emphasis on Cosmetology, Digital Design, among others. In 1997, the institution is qualified as a university. The following year he founded a second campus, the building that housed the factory of São Paulo Alpargatas, in Brás, a landmark of the industrialization of the state. In 1999, implements the vocational courses which offer specific training diploma in two years.
The 80
In 1982, the two institutions come together and there is the Anhembi Morumbi College, offering courses in Media, Tourism, Bilingual Executive Secretary and Administration.
70's
In 1970, a group of advertisers install on the Sao Paulo School of Media Anhembi. A year later, another group, formed by engineers and architects, founded the School of Tourism Morumbi, with the first college to Tourism in Brazil to train graduates in the area.
