In their zeal to accomplish the mission assumed the CTESOP guided by the following principles:
I - Maintain the quality standards of their courses;
II - Commitment to training, dissemination, organization and production of knowledge related to the work areas of the courses it;
III - Respect for the freedom to learn, teach, research and express thoughts, art, culture and knowledge;
IV - Maintenance and dissemination of ethical values and freedom, equality, cultural diversity and democracy;
V - Valuing human being, culture and knowledge, for the preservation and improvement of quality of life;
VI - Permanent interaction with the community and the world of work;
VII-enhancement training for teachers and staff, with constant support and encouragement at the improvement and upgrading.
A history marked by seriousness and competence
The Centre for Higher Education-West Paranaense - CTESOP, was founded in 1985, with your permission on 07 November 1989 by Federal Decree No. 98,367. The first tryout for the Education Course was held in January with the inaugural class on February 12, 1990. Recognized by Decree 167, published in the Official Gazette of February 23, 1996.
In January 1997, was created UNIMES - Union Educational Midwest Paranaense Ltda. Under the chairmanship of Professor Anita Begossi Politi, sponsor of CTESOP - Higher Education Technical Center-West Paranaense whose Director General Professor Jacob Fabricius Begossi.
From 1997 to 2001, the CTESOP obtained commitments from the Ministry of Education to work with three courses: Administration - Foreign Trade Literature - Portuguese and Spanish and Education - Early Childhood Education and Teaching in the first years of elementary school.
On January 15, 2001 the CTESOP moved to its own headquarters, with modern facilities, becoming postcard to Assis Chateaubriand's work for architecture. That same year two more were approved courses: History and Information Systems. In the year 2002 were authorized more than two courses: Geography and Mathematics. In 2005 the Ministry of Education has authorized the operation of the course of Bachelor of Tourism.
Therefore, currently has 09 courses in operation, namely: Administration - Specialization in Foreign Trade, Letters - Empowerment in Portuguese and Spanish and their Literature, Pedagogy I with the qualifications of the Magisterium in matters of the Pedagogical High School, School Counseling, School Supervision Elementary School and Middle School Administration and Elementary School and Middle School Inspection of Primary and Middle Childhood Education Educational Pedagogy II and the Magisterium in the first years of elementary school, History, Full Degree, Information Systems - BA, Geography Full Degree, Full Degree Mathematics and Tourism - Bachelor.
The CTESOP Specialties offers courses since 1999, with groups already formed in Administrative Law, 3 classes Production of Texts and Literature, Mathematics Education, Spanish Language, two classes in Business Education, Special Education and Inclusive Society, Strategic Management, Education Teaching top and 6 teams of Educational Psychology - Education and Clinic, showing the success also in graduate school. He also formed two groups of Further Studies in the Field of Mental Retardation.
For 2007, in partnership with UNIGRAN (Dourados - MS), the CTESOP extends the provision of courses with 5 new Distance Learning Courses, which are: Accounting and theology, both bachelor's and vocational courses in Agriculture, Real Estate Management and Advertising Production .
Scholars attending the CTESOP belong to several municipalities, including: Assis Chateaubriand, High Piquiri Brasilândia South Cafelândia, Campina da Lagoa Formosa do Oeste, Goioerê, Iracema do Oeste, Jesuits, Rondon, Maripá, New Dawn , New Santa Rosa, Ouro Verde do Oeste, Palotina Terra Rossa, Toledo and Tupãssi.
