The Educational Center Organ Mountains (CESO) is a unit of the University Center that operates the Organ Mountains in the area of basic education. Founded in 1983, the college works to build the intellectual growth, social and human from kindergarten to high school. The pedagogical aims of CESO the collective production of knowledge, respecting diverse subjectivities of the actors who constitute the school environment. Education committed to human knowledge and training ensures the relevance, multidisciplinarity and critical thinking necessary for the development of new generations.

Project development and promotion of interdisciplinarity as inducers of undergraduate research and methodological innovation in the teaching-learning are some differences of the college.
CESO integrate qualified professionals who work in teams engaged in a process of continuous training and constant updating. Plays a predominant role in this process, and provide technical and pedagogical strategies for technology training that meets the demands of teaching today.
In connection to the work done in the classroom, the CESO promotes educational activities in the computer lab in the school library, the gym and other spaces for teaching and learning.
The quality of the pedagogical work developed in the CESO is supported by skilled professionals who work at the Faculty of Education UNIFESO. Of note also the presence of psychologists and other specialists, full time, looking to develop an educational activity with a view to promoting the welfare of students by improving their interpersonal relationships and family, considering the different ages of life involved.
The CESO, as a supplementary unit UNIFESO, has all the infrastructure of the University Center, which allows students to participate in practical activities in modern laboratories and multimedia use spaces. In addition to the school library at the headquarters of the college, students also have access to the collection of the libraries of Campi Headquarters, Quinta do Paraiso FESO and Pro Arte.
In addition, CESO is the only college that develops Teresópolis Music education classes since kindergarten. |
