Originated in Module College, the University Center module has its origins in 1988, always with a commitment to train qualified and competent professionals, capable of contributing to the social and economic development in the region.
Today the module, the largest and most traditional higher education institution of the North Coast, is installed on campus and center Martin de Sa and currently has 2,400 students, over 100 teachers and 200 staff and offers undergraduate courses for graduate and postgraduate .
The pedagogical practice, aligned to the needs and challenges of the job market, finds support in its qualified teaching staff and the infrastructure consisting of laboratories, libraries, Internet connection, an amphitheater and a gymnasium.
In October 2007, the University Center Module became part of the same educational group of Cruzeiro do Sul University, São Paulo. Thus, the module aims to develop even more in their activities, leveraging the current conditions that gathers and that enable it to achieve prominence in several academic indicators, such as those who have UNICSUL with the Ministries of Education and Science and Technology ( Capes, CNPq and others).
The first step toward this goal was given. As for the 2008 school year, R $ 4 million in investments, dedicated to increasing physical infrastructure, purchase of teaching equipment, technology and new courses.
All the achievements of the University Center Module is the result of a commitment and fulfilled: to provide quality higher education by encouraging the pursuit of knowledge and the democratization of culture.
