11 December 1961 - Foundation of the IMT.
December 15 - 1st meeting of the Congregation of the MES.

1962 April 18 - Authorization for operation of the MES.

May 10 - Presented the 1st class of MES.

July 4 - Authorization for the operation of formal courses in electrical engineering and industrial forms: chemical, mechanical and metallurgical.

1966 Creation of the Research Center with the initial name of Maua Center for Testing and Technological Research - CMEPT.
Start of teaching activities on the campus of São Caetano do Sul

1968 Authorization for operation of the civil engineering course.
Implementation of the Campus 1971 São Caetano do Sul the Computer Center.

1976 Establishment of Liaison Extracurricular courses, the forerunner of future unit to be called Centre for Continuing Education in Engineering and Management - CECEA.

1979 Authorization for implementation of the course of Sanitary Engineering.

1985 Authorization for the current deployment of Food Engineering.

1995 Authorization for implementation of the course of Production Engineering.
Authorization of the School of Management Maua - MI.
Realization of the 1st Qualification Competition School of Management Maua (together with MES).

1996 Presented the inaugural class of Maua School of Management - EAM.
Creation of the night course in engineering education: Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical.
Implementation of the 1998 Postgraduate Course in Industrial Processes at the School of Engineering Maua. Areas of concentration: Packaging Engineering, Energy and Environment, Instrumentation, Automation and Control.

1999 Graduation of first class Mauá School of Management, who obtained "A" concept stakes testing in the MEC.

2000 January 4 - Credentialing Center University of IMT by presidential decree.

2005 Deployment of Technology degree courses: Marketing Management and Business Management.

2006 Establishment of the Graduate Program in Engineering of Industrial Processes in Sao Jose dos Campos.
Change of name of university courses in Technology, Management, Marketing and Business Management for Marketing and Management Processes.

2007 Implementation of the course Product Design and Technology degree courses: Environmental Management and Information Technology.

The University Center IMT - IMT-CEUN, offers courses in Management, Product Design, Engineering in the following qualifications: Food Engineering, Civil, Control and Automation, Electrical (Emphasis Electronic and Electrical Engineering) Mechanical Production Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry, and Technological College courses.
The CEUN-IMT's mission is constant improvement and upgrading of teaching and research in science, technological development and management.

The accreditation of the University Center by the Ministry of Education certifies the quality of the educational projects implemented, the qualifications of faculty and academic working conditions offered to its students.
The CECEA Coordinator and the Graduate School of Engineering graduates Maua offer upper-level courses the opportunity to continue their studies in graduate programs.

The units of instruction CEUN - IMT have an environment conducive to professional development of students with an excellent laboratory infrastructure, with highly qualified faculty, dedicated to scientific research, the profession and improving teaching techniques. Most teachers have master's degrees and doctorates awarded by universities in Brazil, North American or European.

For the development of academic and research, students and faculty of the University Center include the collection of modern library and have a fleet of modern laboratories with microcomputers incorporated in an internal network and connected to the Internet.

The Coordinating Internship program and organize meetings with business students, guide students in obtaining internships and vocational trainees and graduates in obtaining employment.

Students of the University Center have areas for the development of social centers (Academics), sports (Centre for Sports and Physical Activity and Academic Athletic Associations) and practice (Junior Enterprise).
