Established by State Decree No. 11,734 of March 19, 1969, the Community institution FUNCEC-teaching, non-profit - is the sponsor of the Institute of Higher Education of John Monlevade (IES / FUNCEC) and the Technology Center Dr. Joseph Hein ( CENTEC).
For over 40 years investing in quality education, the FUNCEC has established itself as an entity that has encouraged more sustainable social, economic, political and cultural life of the Middle Piracicaba.
Through cultural and educational projects and partnerships with other institutions, has expanded its operations FUNCEC in the community. There are hundreds of people participating in projects and receiving free services like legal services, business consulting, research and educational programs and courses artistic forms.
