The Association of Higher Education of Greater Florianópolis - AESGF, private legal person duly registered in the CNPJ MF under No. 00.118.723/0001-90, with headquarters at Avenida Salvador Di Bernardi, No. 503, Campinas, São José / SC , is a nonprofit entity maintains.
The AESGF designed the accreditation to regulate the functioning of the Institute for Higher Education in Florianópolis - IESGFcreated in the Extraordinary General Meeting held by the sponsor on 23/06/1994.
The institution made its entrance into higher education, settling in San José / SC, since 2000, with accreditation, held concurrently with the opening of the course of Administration with specialization in Business Administration, authorized by Ordinance No. 498, published in the Gazette on March 16, 1999 and approved by Ordinance No. 2304, published in the Gazette on July 4, 2005. Subsequently, the IESGF formulated new course programs that involved the authorization of undergraduate courses in Communication with specialization in Advertising, by Ordinance No. 2913, published in the Gazette on 18 December 2001; Administration with majors in International Trade and Human Resources, through Ordinance No. 2930, published in the Gazette on 18 December 2001 and recognized by Ordinance No. 2304, published in the Gazette of July 4, 2005; Administration with specialization in Marketing, through Ordinance No. 2363 , published in the Gazette on 6 November 2001; Tourism, through Ordinance No. 491, published in the Gazette on 25 February 2002; Administration with majors in Hotel Management and Management Information Systems, through Ordinance No. 1611, published in the Gazette on 3 June 2002; Accounting, through Ordinance No. 2045, published in the Gazette on July 16, 2002; Physiotherapy, through Ordinance No. 4055, published in the Gazette on 31 December 2002; Lawthrough Ordinance No. 2046, published in the Gazette on August 1, 2003, and Computer Science, through Ordinance No. 2883, published in the Gazette on October 14, 2003, Pedagogy, by Ordinance No. 942, published in the Gazette on November 23, 2006; Social Services, through Ordinance No. 1619, published in the Gazette on November 13, 2009.

Located in the heart of Kobrasol / São José / SC, IES is placed at the disposal of the community in providing educational courses in Technology, Management, Tourism, Hotel Management, Information Systems, Marketing, Human Resources, Media / Advertising and Marketing, Accounting and Law.
Sharing the challenges of the present, but with a projection into the future, the institution maintains a corps of high-quality teachers and invest in his project of technical and human, operating with the technical and pedagogical support of UNIP / AIM São Paulo.
