Principles - Our History
The Flamingo Educational Group maintains the College of the Americas, the College Faculty and Flamingo Flamingo.
Began his career with a preparation course to the old exams and maturity in a short time, settled into two units, located in Barra Funda and Lapa.
Extended its offer to substitute for regular courses of Elementary and Secondary Education, who presented the Career Technical Courses in the areas of Communication, Information Technology, Commerce, Management and Health, and the course of teaching thus resulting in the College Flamingo.
In 1994, began offering courses in elementary and high school, adopting the name of the College of the Americas.
Since 2000 has been marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the Faculty Flamingo, the approval of their first college baccalaureate and in 2001 was approved undergraduate courses in technology for two years.
In the first half of 2004, higher education technology were recognized by the MEC, and in 2005 expanded its field of action, creating the graduate courses.
In 2009 it opened its new building, located in Lapa.
Today, the Faculty Flamingo, shows that all this effort in pioneering spirit has shaped the growth of the institution and may be translated into recognition of our students.
