Later that year, with the support of organizations and services related to sports, IPEC has obtained authorization for installation of the School of Physical Education High Paulista and already in 1973, the college was recognized (Decree No. 73156) by the Federal government as a reputable institution in the training of professionals in the area where it operates today.

And then ...
For 30 years, ESEFAP invested in training teachers and guideposts in formation of more than 2000 young people who later came to excel as teachers and administrators of educational institutions and entities related to health and sport.

Despite all dedication to providing a quality higher education, by 2000 the leaders of the IPEC, which maintains the ESEFAP, felt compelled to upgrade the pedagogical and, why not take advantage of the expertise gained in the course of 30 years Physical Education and then invest in new courses in the area of Health to come up to meet demand in the region whose job market becomes increasingly diverse and promising.

The IPEC after survey to identify needs and potentials of the regional market, launches a major investment in the expansion of its physical structure, the update of the collection of your library, training and hiring of skilled professionals in the administrative, laboratory, but mainly in its new line teaching and renewal of faculty. In this context the nursing course.

Present and future ...

1970, a group of young professionals founded the Institution Paulista Education and Culture with the goal of providing the population tupćense a degree that would enable professional development, which offers new methods of research and educational line updated.

Currently ESEFAP maintains this principle, but goes further. The direction of the entity considers that an institution of higher education also has to interact with their community and to help every individual achieve the full dignity, that every social actor to develop community spirit and participation.
It is so today the Esefap has partnerships with various entities to address two audiences tupćenses:

For students, the institution has agreements with hospitals and health centers so that our students can develop research and extension projects and apprenticeships, experience the reality of their field.

Community: the Esefap has partnered with various charities, promotes and frequently participates in events organized by public and private sectors, whose goal is, besides promoting the welfare of the population, develop the spirit of our citizens to engage students in the areas of organization and recreation. Among the different partnerships and events are highlighted projects Caminha Tupa, Volleyball and Chess Esefap Esefap Recreation and Nightlife. It is worth mentioning Felix Project, a partnership between Esefap Unimed-Hospital and St. Francis of Assisi, which promotes digital inclusion of children from disadvantaged communities.

Our philosophy, therefore, is to provide quality education and socialize all the knowledge acquired and generated in the classroom, is to enable every individual has full access to a healthier life through educational, recreational, sporting and social. The ESEFAP does its part, cements the foundation for our society is ever more just and humane.
