Commitment. This is a good starting point for you to understand how things happen here. One of our characteristics is that teachers are the keepers and also give lessons. This differential allows them to be in direct contact with the academic life, facilitating the perception of changes necessary to improve the model adopted - a work in progress.

The triad of the ECM indicators that determine the quality and efficiency of teaching, research and extension is formed by the faculty, facilities and didactic-pedagogic. This presentation we will concentrate on these aspects, to convey an idea of the way we act.

Beginning teachers, it is essential to have a well prepared to act as mediators in the learning process efficient. They must have the necessary skills to encourage students to identify:
1) when intervention is necessary;
2) what proportion of innovation it must have;
3) when it should be implemented.

Accordingly, the titration is one of the main tools. The minimum levels set by the MEC will vary by area of knowledge, but are well below those exhibited by Faat, which has 66% of doctors and teachers, 28% of specialists and 6% of graduates with obvious knowledge. Students in the financial area have the Junior Company to exercise the theoretical knowledge, and the Social Communication exploit the structure of sophisticated laboratory Radio and TV.

The library is another indispensable tool. Here, not just enter numbers. One must see the quality and timeliness of these books. The collection of over 12,000 titles Faat consists, almost entirely, for copies purchased in the past four years. In the classrooms, everything has been designed to provide the best possible conditions to promote learning: lighting, temperature, air circulation, furniture, audiovisual and other resources required for the appropriate environment for productive and interactive lessons.

The third and final indicator of quality and efficiency adopted by the MEC is the didactic and pedagogic. In relation to the pedagogical aims to contemplate the Faat the most efficient way to prepare the student to enter the labor market, and once this happens, up the career ladder.

The evaluation system, guided by the Project for Institutional Development, reflects the parameters of the necessary course corrections. In the most recent initiative, the characteristics and objectives of the courses, the professional profile to be formed and curriculum planning were evaluated for professionals outstanding performance. This initiative to involve society in the evaluation process leverages the experience of people who are already in the labor market to enhance the curriculum of the disciplines of the courses.

In an effective integration with the community, Faat stimulates several initiatives that require joint efforts. Students are encouraged to seek integration with the community through activities that include health, art, entertainment, sport and others. And, on its own initiative, they promote solidarity actions that benefit the poor of the city.

The seals of the ECM are the largest demonstration that Faat walks in the right direction. First, the "A" in the course of Directors General Test in 2001. In 2003, new notes "A" Course Administration and Accounting, which make Faat one of the top five individuals in the state.

Other forms of recognition that strategic planning is successful track renewals are recognitions of Business Administration courses and pedagogy with "Very Good Condition (AMC). By definition of the Ministry itself, CMB is the concept applicable to the course that presents a 'gold standard'.

The sponsor of the Educational Institution is Faat Atibaiense S / C Ltda, founded in 1971 by entrepreneurs from traditional families Atibaia: teachers John Pereira Dias, Celiza Pereira Dias de Lima, Sidney and Cotrim Malmegrim Calazans Jose Silva.

Develop critical thinking directed to observing and addressing new demands technical, professional and social;

Encourage the preservation and construction of cultural values in line with the improvement of social environment and individual growth;

Building a sense of citizenship and social responsibility as forms of individual and professional attitude;

Support the socio-economic development of the region by offering courses and programs that meet the demand for human capital;

Contribute to increasing the employability of its graduates;

Provide a space for reflection and academic scientific production in the service of the immediate community and society in general.
