The Paulista School of Arts was opened in 1998 as founder Prof. Dr. Rogerio Luiz Telles Scaglione. The institution was accredited by the MEC in 1321 through Decree of 27 November 1998, published in the Official Gazette of 30.11.1998, in order to develop the teaching of Art in São Paulo.
With the implementation of courses in various areas of Arts, the Faculty of Arts Paulista has sought in its ten years of existence, to invest in high quality teaching. And has managed to achieve their aspirations, working hard to make the best of their courses in the country. It is a proposal of hard work, struggle and belief in Brazil.
The Paulista School of Arts comes to the twenty-first century with nine (9) undergraduate courses, eight (8) Post - Graduate and other free courses open to the community. Thus becomes a milestone in the teaching of Arts in Sao Paulo and Brazil, treading the path of sustained growth and excellence in educational quality and rigor.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF THEIR MISSION:
Christian principles of justice, ethics, dedication, fairness, tolerance, solidarity, cooperation, integrity, efficiency, discipline and respect for hierarchy, the individual and the institution.
ACTION: To fulfill its action, the FPA:
offers upper-level courses;
prepares programs of teaching and learning;
contributes to the understanding of the variety and mutability of social demands;
promotes and fosters the ability to adapt to complexity and speed of the contemporary world, and
promotes student interface in the labor market.
