Faculdade Morumbi Sul
Morumbi, Brazil

University description (as per official university website)

The United Nations Educational Morumbi Sul has a history closely linked to the community where it is installed. Founded in 1982 as Kindergarten Morumbi Sul, worked in a small house, called the "cottage" and had only 140 students.

In 1989, was acquired by a group of schools that had a very progressive vision on the region where it worked. It was not an illusion. The neighborhood grew, there were new condos and an active and diversified trade. Thus, the community began to settle in the place wanted to give their children quality education, with many advantages.

Just at this time began to dawn a new College Morumbi Sul In 1994, the College began to function in the present building, on Rua Our Lady of Good Counsel 351, in a privileged area of 5.200m . Currently, the college has 1,600 students, installed in a building of 7.800m , designed especially to meet with service-oriented education.

But the journey has not stopped. With the same goal of educating citizens, the United Nations Educational Morumbi Sul, with the creation of MORUMBI SOUTH COLLEGE - FMS started in 1999, the two higher education courses, Education and Administration, both recognized by the MEC.

In 2003, also authorized the operation of the Course LETTERS, with the BA in Portuguese and English Literature and its Spanish-and Portuguese and their Degrees in Literature and Translation and Interpretation in English-Portuguese and Portuguese-Spanish.

In January 2002, MEC has been accredited by the Center for Technological Education, current MORUMBI SOUTH COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY - FATEC-MS, which has, today, with courses in Systems Analysis and Development, Database, Internet Systems Development , Management of Small and Medium Business, Human Resource Management, Quality Systems Management, Tourism Management and Computer Networks.

In 2004 saw the creation of THE GRADUATE CENTER SOUTH MORUMBI with various course options. For now, offering courses in the form of broad sense, providing everyone the opportunity to pursue studies beyond the undergraduate.

So, thinking about the formation of the total human being, the United Nations Educational Morumbi Sul contemplates Childhood Education from the Graduate.

And we are sure that our story does not end here, along with his family can develop the whole process of educational development that our country needs.
