The Univen - Espirito Santo School in New Venezia, a project born of internalization of higher education, implemented by its sponsor, Embraer - Empresa Brasileira Teaching, Research and Extension S / A. The request for accreditation from the College of New Venezia Capixaba (Protocol 23000010412/98-02), along with SESU / MEC (Ministry of Higher Education), was presented the request for authorization to offer courses in Business Administration with focus in Business Administration Business, Current Administration and Accounting.
The first selection process in the form of vestibular occurred on September 26, 1999 and the College of New Capixaba Venezia - Univen started, the full swing, its academic activities on October 13, 1999 with the degrees in Business Administration and Sciences statements.
In 2001 Univen received authorization in accordance with Ordinance 536 - DOU to run the courses in Business Administration with emphasis in Systems Analysis, Business Administration with emphasis in International Business, Literature with emphasis in English / Portuguese and Portuguese / Spanish Literatures and their Respective .
In 2003, in accordance with Ordinance 3025, published in the Official Gazette, Univen received the operating permit, which could offer a law course. Also offered courses in Nursing and Technical Computing. Courses in Accounting Sciences and Administration were recognized with Notes A and B.
In 2005 the Arts and pedagogy courses were recognized by the deadline and Univen secured the title of 2nd best score of the state, the two courses, on the average of the other schools who participated.
In 2006 Univen took 1st place in Enade in the course of Accountancy and the two best courses in business administration from the State.
In 2007 he attended law school recognized by the deadline.
In 2008 Univen had the 2nd best place in the state and 29th nationally in the ranking of colleges in the MEC. He won the stamp of national recognition of OAB to law school.
In 2009, 60% of law students who took the test Univen of OAB were approved. It was again considered the second best college in the state ranking of the MEC, staying ahead of 95% of institutions across the country. MEC has received authorization to offer courses in nursing and engineering production.
In 2010 Univen is offering 10 undergraduate and 18 postgraduate courses
