The Faculty of Medicine of Marilia (FAMEMA) is an agency of the State of São Paulo, linked to the state Department of Higher Education , therefore public. Offering free courses in medicine and nursing.
The Faculty of Medicine of Marília (FAMEMA), in line with movements for improving higher education and redefinition of the profile and role of health professionals, stands as an institution geared to the needs of the population and occupies an important role both in Municipality, as a service provider, as in society, as the teacher of human resources.
Education has been a major lever for change in society and the Faculty of Medicine of Marília has broadly and deeply involved in discussions about medical education and nursing, both in national and international forums.
The faculty has a strong interest and investment in their own training and titling. The College encourages and supports the boiling of new knowledge, directs and strengthens its educational project.
The curricula of medical and nursing student-centered, community oriented and using active teaching methods and learning reflect a successful work of its faculty, students and principals.
