Proposal
Noting the need for better training of the Systems Analyst and prepare it for the world of work, the Educational Society Lemos de Castro assembled a team of teachers of the highest quality teaching and formulated a proposal for the formation of the full Systems Analyst Information.

This proposal was submitted to the MEC Expert Committee and was approved by the Opinion. 423/99, 18/05/1999 and approved by the Ministerial Decree no. 947, 22/06/1999. Thus was created the Bachelor course in Information Systems.

The MEC was recognized by Ordinance No. 918 of 17/03/2005.

The curriculum has total workload of 3000 hours / class, divided into eight six-month periods. The course is offered at night, with classes from Monday to Friday, from 18:20 to 22:00.

Objectives
The course of Bachelor of Information Technology / Information Systems FILC offers its students an education directed to the labor market, geared primarily to the development of information systems.
The course aims to prepare students with skills in analysis, design and management systems, enabling them to operate in the development of administrative, financial and commercial systems supported on the Internet and Intranets as well as in environments supporting software development. Using modern design techniques and business systems, students acquire computer skills and entrepreneurship, in order to meet market demand Condo for a specialized professional yet versatile, able to adapt to a changing world.

Market
The immediate field of action of the Bachelor in Information Technology / Information Systems in the current structure of the labor market will be in occupation of positions of Systems Analyst (and its correlates) in developing companies and users of computerized systems in software companies (software -houses), to provide services in software, and data processing centers of public and private companies. May act in short, in all areas where information technology is used.
The course, at night time, allows students to stage in enterprises that will act full time.

Training
The teaching team consists of professionals who work in their respective areas of the labor market, prominently.
The training is divided into large training area:
Mathematics
development of logical reasoning and abstract, providing elements for structuring ideas and concepts and problem solving;
Computing
knowledge of architecture and computers, the field of possibilities and limits of organization and manipulation of information, expertise in data communications, and training in the construction of algorithms and structured programs;
Analysis and Design of Information Systems
knowledge of modern methods, techniques and tools to model, design, implement and manage, with security systems in place rs needs presented, with levels of quality and efficiency requirements appropriate current market Rs;
Entrepreneurship
development of concepts of entrepreneurship, leadership models, communication and teamwork, knowledge of organizing a company of Information Technology; training in strategic planning and business plans for the area of Information Technology; market situation and policy of Informatics of the country;
Final Project
Aiming to evaluate the knowledge acquired throughout the course, students are instructed to draw in the end, a complete design of an information system for a real application. This project will be evaluated by a panel of teachers and specialist.
Library
The library has a collection of over 800 books, as well as subscriptions to newspapers and journals, and his catalog is fully computerized. It also has multimedia computers with Internet access Condo, for an unlimited time, printer, scanner and copier in order to facilitate the research and development work.

Laboratories
Pupils have laboratories equipped with personal computers, both for use in practical classes such as private study, printer, scanner, TV? S 29? and sound environment. All machines are networked and have Internet access unlimited Condo.
