Quality in education
Semar College was founded in 2000, began with the course of Mathematics and Pedagogy, followed later in the course and Literature under the premise of providing quality higher education to students of Technical College Our Lady of Aparecida and the population of the Sertãozinho region. Currently it offers undergraduate Mathematics, Pedagogy, and Literature and opened consistent range of post-graduate teaching consolidated by an agreement signed in 2007 with the University Unicastelo.
In those eight years of activity as IES, the Faculty has Semar set to offer courses to regional demands, always attentive to the demands of modernity.
The Technical College over the more than 50 years of effective performance (with courses in Technical Chemistry, Safety, Electronics, Nursing Administration, etc.), has graduated over 55,000 students.
The institution's work is carried out by trained professionals: Teachers, Educators, Researchers and Analysts, dynamics of fundamental importance to ensure that the sponsor CTCNSA Basic Education and adopt a constructivist-interactionist methodology, pedagogical line whose goal is discovery learning with the student as an agent of transformation.
The physical structure of the institution was designed to allow both the student and the College Faculty intensely enjoy the time spent in the educational environment. The facilities include a library, computer labs, chemistry, physics and biology, reading room, large auditorium and workshops in English and excellent living space.
