The mission of the Higher Education Institution: Faculty of Social and Agrarian Itapeva, maintained by the Association for Educational and Cultural Itapeva, is offering through higher education, scientific and technological knowledge combined with strong ethical, moral and humanistic, the population Itapeva and region, thus contributing to social changes that elevate the human being in search of their dignity and personal achievement.

Thus aims to produce, socialize and apply knowledge in various fields of knowledge through teaching triad, research and extension, blend together in order to contribute to the social and economic development of the country and the state of Sao Paulo and promote training Full professional-citizen critical-reflective, competent and committed technical and ethical effectively with the social, political and cultural conditions and to act in the world of work.

This training aims to contribute fully to the conditions of citizenship for the student graduates can pursue a purposeful way to build more just and egalitarian society through the formation of professional education at undergraduate and postgraduate students, and teacher training , based on construction and reconstruction of knowledge.

The philosophy of the Faculty of Social and Agrarian Itapeva, when it comes to education, is to be an end and school to fulfill this vocation, it proposes to follow a set of principles towards quality education, which are :

a) the student as the reason for the Faculty;
b) training of its human resources, training staff in modern management techniques and encouraging teachers to a continuous improvement process;
c) development of courses and teaching techniques, whereas the teacher knowledgeable in their discipline and also the best techniques and processes to deliver it;
d) use the computer as a teaching and support to other activities;
e) opening to the world through partnerships with academic centers of excellence, absorbing modern experiences and adapting them to regional realities;
f) investment in physical facilities suitable for teaching;
g) recognition by the community for their University entrance is wanted by a large number of candidates and, consequently, the selection is guided by quality;
h) seeking partnerships with companies and institutions, seeking to make them aware that the qualification begins in school.

The main commitment is with the Faculty student. All actions are geared towards the facilitation of learning and training of professional ethics, with critical awareness of their responsibilities.

It aims at the overall quality of all activities, from planning, supporting materials, assessment tools, to the administrative procedures of the more complex the more elementary.
