BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

The proposed course of Biological Sciences / Graduate School of Health and Human Ecology - FASEH aimed at the creation of a biologist with the skills to act in different coverage areas of biology. These areas can be listed as a qualification for the teaching of Physical and Biological Sciences of Elementary Education, Biology in high school, as well as act in the areas of Environment and the different areas of basic biological sciences as a researcher or senior technician in the laboratory. It also allows access to postgraduate training in broad and strict sense. Thus the graduates in Biological Sciences course may teach environmental consultancies in the areas of zoology, botany and ecology. It may also act in the preparation of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental impact reports (EIR). It is made clear, finally, that the course meets the educational qualifications with multiple teaching, research and extension, and a full field of coverage of the field performance of professional biologist. Thus, the degree in Biological Sciences FASEH can sign up at the Regional Council of Biology (CRBio) and still have access to teaching elementary school, middle and upper, the latter from graduate studies in specific area of biology.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The course of Physical Education FASEH comes at a time of recovery of the profession in Brazil, with the implementation of national and state policies related to the understanding of sport and leisure and social rights, with the efforts towards living a lifestyle more healthy, with the holding of major sporting events in the country and efforts to increase the quality of teaching in basic education schools in the country. The course in the city of Vespasian, is offered in the undergraduate, whose goal is the formation of teachers able to critically examine the reality and act on it creatively through different manifestations and expressions of this area, aiming to education, leisure, four quality of life and physical performance, sports, helping to build a more just society and more healthy. The educational project was built taking into account the legislation that governs the training courses for teachers and undergraduate courses in Physical Education, noting the demands and needs of the region where it operates. Thus, the project consists of the dimensions of human development, educational, scientific and technical knowledge and professional skills. The training is 8 periods, consistent with scientific and pedagogical training, research and interaction with the community through curricular and non curricular and extension activities with public and private organizations. The course load, distributed in eight semesters, consists of courses, internships, graduate of complementary activities, studies. The degree in Physical Education from FASEH can sign up at the Regional Council and still have access to teaching elementary school, middle and upper, the latter from graduate area.

NURSING

It is a social practice, staffed by professionals from different fields (Nurse, Practical Nursing and Nursing Assistant). The nurse is a professional university graduates with professional training and regulated, respectively, by Resolution CNE / CES n 3 of 7 November 2001 and the Professional Practice Law No. 7498/86. It is responsible for the responsibility for nursing care to the individual and the community, performing a work intended as an agent of social change, able to develop reasoning epidemiological, clinical and research, contributing effectively to the improvement of population health.

1 - THE COURSE

The Undergraduate Program in Nursing is offered in the bachelor, with a duration of 08 semesters, total workload of 4000 hours, working day, providing 120 places per year, with two entrances semester. Authorized to operate by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Education, 14/12/2001 and 2873 Recognized by the Ministry of Education Ordinance 490 of 09/02/2006. FASEH A is contracted by the municipal health of Vespasian, with the network and FHEMIG with the Hospital Odilon Bherens, among others.

2-OBJECTIVES

nurses form a critical-reflexive, aware of their social role to play in the promotion, protection, recovery and rehabilitation of the individual and the community, respecting the ethical and legal principles with technical expertise, scientific, and social insert themselves into production and dissemination of knowledge in nursing and health through research conducted by its faculty and students; contribute to improving the health of the population in the municipality of Vespasian and the state of Minas Gerais, providing nursing care safe and quality, through extension projects that encourage the integration of theory and practice, teaching and service.

3 - PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Nurses to be formed should have the following powers: perform analysis of political, social, and economic and epidemiological profile to identify health problems and propose intervention measures provide nursing care to the individual, group and family community at various levels of health care, respecting the ethical and legal principles; recognize the significance of nursing practice in the social context recognize themselves as agents of educational processes focused on the nursing staff, for the individual and collectivity recognize themselves as subjects of the interdisciplinary team, working on solutions to health problems in their area; identifying sources, and seek to produce knowledge for the development of professional practice; manage nursing care at different levels health care; practicing their profession in the scenarios of care, management, teaching and research, including the human being as a historical being able to intervene and transform reality, based on ethical principles of law.

4 - FIELD OF WORK

The playing field is vast and varied and can work in health services in the core network (health centers, outpatient clinics, family health teams), home care, central planning agencies (state health departments and municipal), courses formation of mid-level staff (technicians and nursing assistants) and top-level business consulting, technical assistance and provision of nursing services.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy is an applied science whose object of study is human movement in all its forms of expression and potential, both in its pathological changes, either in its organic and psychological repercussions, that aims to preserve, maintain, develop or restore the integrity organ, system or function. To achieve its objectives, means and uses physical resources such as electrotherapy, thermotherapy, cryotherapy, among other agents besides kinesiotherapeutic arising from the development and scientific production in the area, always seeking to promote, enhance or adapt the individual to a better quality of life. The Course of Physical Therapy was recognized by Decree Law No. 938 of October 13, 1969, which provides definitions on the profession of physiotherapy. Law No. 6316 of 17 December 1975 establishing the Federal Council and the Regional Councils of the profession, as well as the elaboration of the Code of Professional Ethics of Physiotherapy by these organs of class legislation strengthens the profession.


1) COURSE

The Course of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health and Human Ecology has been authorized by the Ministry of Education, 330-2001 decree authorizing and Recognized by the Ministry of Education Ordinance 4484, 22/12/2005, lasting for 09 (nine) semesters, and workload of 4080 hours, working day, providing 120 places per year, with two entrances semester. This course has a philosophy to have a program large enough to form professionals with high sense of reality and society that can act as disseminators of information new project of society and to prepare students with humanistic vision and environmentally friendly, caring aspects of preventive, curative and rehabilitation of disorders of body systems. FASEH A is contracted by the municipal health of Vespasian, and the network FHEMIG among others.

2) OBJECTIVES

Provide students and community perceptions of current problems in Brazil, so that they become able to join and participate in change; Prepare conscious citizens the full exercise of citizenship, training professionals, skilled generalists who look at their performance on the individual in a comprehensive way ; With critical view toward preventing disease and qualified to care at clinics and maternity hospitals, health centers, gyms, sports clubs and residences, offices, businesses, nursing homes, kindergartens and schools, research institutions and teaching of physiotherapy, health sectors of work.

3) PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

The physiotherapist graduated from the Faculty of Health and Human Ecology - FASEH, you should have: Vision technological, educational and technical improvement; Accountability ethics; Ability to clinical performance, installation and service coordination of Physiotherapy Capacity to educate individuals about their daily activities to improve their health; Ability to understand and interfere in the socio-political and environmental health. To achieve the objectives proposed by the Course, the Faculty of Health and Human Ecology - FASEH presents a faculty composed of qualified professionals and graduates who work in disciplines with close ties to the knowledge areas of their professional qualifications and experience, as well as physical facility (classrooms, library, laboratories) highly equipped.

4) FIELD OF WORK

The insertion in the labor market is large and diverse, and may work in health services, the
basic network (health centers, polyclinics, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, sports clubs, clinics and
clinics, care homes, central planning agencies, state health department
and municipal), staff training courses at tertiary level, firm and others.
Some factors are contributing to increasing the current and future demand for physiotherapists:
Developing technology becoming more sedentary man;
Increased mental stress and urban pollution;
Worsening quality of life;
* An increase in population age;
Professionalization and growth of sports institutions;
The need to increase research in physical therapy;
Increasing looks for treatment techniques that do not involve chemicals or
invasive or surgical procedures.
