CNEC - Campaign for Community Schools
The Faculty of Sete Lagoas Cenecista component is the Network CNEC Education. CNEC-National Campaign for Community Schools was founded in 1943 in Recife, a group of students led by Professor George FelipeTiago. Through volunteer work, this group of idealists gathered to offer free education for poor young schoolboys. CNEC spread throughout Brazil and currently has over 260 educational units, 7,500 teachers, 3,600 staff and 110,000 students.
By means of Decree No. 36.505/54 CNEC was recognized as a public utility and the National Council of Social Service has granted the certificate of philanthropic entities, since it is about profits and not intended for all of their financial results to the statutory objectives . The CNEC is recognized as the most significant movement of community education in Latin America.

And with the first class graduate, it was no different.The class of Educational Management was the largest class graduate of Sete Lagoas in history - more than 40 students of education and the spread of the tradition of teaching CNEC network, which for over 60 years is synonymous with quality education.
