HISTORY

ES MA - School of the Environment, was created because the city of Iguatama - MG needed an institution to inform and orient the population of environmentally friendly actions, the council passed by environmental problems such as: fish mortality in São Francisco, excessive use of pesticides, destroying fauna and flora.

In 1997 starts the activities of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) with the important socio-economic-environmental.

ES MA is headquartered in the city of Iguatama, central-western Minas Gerais.

The origin of the name of the municipality comes from the term indigenous "Ygua-Teramo, which has the meaning" My Country Creek "or" Land of the Crooked River. ADMINISTRATION - ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration - Environmental Management

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

The Course Management - Environmental Management COLLEGE IN ENVIRONMENT-ALTO SAN FRANCISCO aims to provide professional knowledge to manage in the administrative areas of financial, physical, technological, social, political, economic, cultural, human and environmental impacts of a company .

Specifically, different train professionals able to:

act by participating in environmental management, planning and management programs to control the quality of the environment.
perform functions related to the area of environmental management; aquatic ecosystems, terrestrial and atmospheric.
In addition, to provide students a holistic view toward the action, and seeking to maintain intact ecological systems they depend on the life and production.

Gives the student a sense of responsibility towards future generations, where the environment is the means to generate them welfare and development.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

The current Administration should lead the way for the Bachelor of Administration is able to understand and manage the administrative, scientific, technical, social, economic and environmental issues, developing entrepreneurial characteristics as in the decision-making process, senior management and able to seeking new information, among other fields of action of the Administrator.

The Undergraduate Program of directors must train professionals who would, at least the following skills and abilities:

- Develop logical, critical and analytical values and to work with mathematical formulations present in the formal and causal relationships between phenomena of production, administration and control, as well as expressing themselves in a critical and creative face of the different organizational and social contexts;

- Develop the ability to transfer knowledge and experience everyday life for the working environment and their professional field, in different organizational models, revealing professional adaptable.

Areas:

The Bachelor of Environmental Management should be able to apply the tools of Directors. Among these, include:

- Financial Management: financial analysis, financial projections, cost control and resource planning.

- Administration of Material: inventory control, logistics, planning, purchasing and supply systems.

- Administration Marketing: market research, marketing, sales planning and promotion.

- Production Management: Production planning and control, planning and cost analysis.

- Human Resource Management and Personnel Selection: coordination, control and development, recruitment, selection and training.

- Administration of Budgets: preparation and cost control, projections, estimates and provisions.

- Organization and Methods: Analysis and implementation of methods, processes and systems, aimed at streamlining and reorganization planning, data processing.

Assume, to implement environmental management systems in companies, industrial organizations, commercial and service companies.

-Conduct research, study, analysis, interpretation, planning, implementation, coordination and control work in the fields of environmental science and stewardship.

-Evaluate, interpret and advise on research, reports, plans, designs, environmental reports and arbitrations to require the application of knowledge and techniques of organization, studies, analysis and work in the fields of management and applied environmental sciences.

Having ethics and a new social and environmental responsibility proposing, implementing and coordinating processes of change that induce the adoption of new organizational structures in order to care or collective interests of communities affected by the unsustainable use of natural resources, environmental impact studies and licensing chain of custody and traceability of products

-Assist, coordinate or conduct procedures involving the preparation of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental impact reports (EIR), or referral to the competent environmental authority application for a license or authorization to operate, and will permit the location , installation, expansion or operation of projects and activities that use of environmental resources with potential pollution or, in any form, may cause environmental degradation.

As a consultant or auditor in the certification processes and standardization of environmental management systems in line with ISO 14000 standards.

Briefly, the environmental manager may act in the service area and across many sectors of agriculture, commerce and industry. You can find opportunities in banks, environmental departments of public and private companies, NGOs, companies hydroelectric, petrochemical, mining, pulp and paper, sanitation, agriculture, consultancy studies of environmental impacts in protected areas of nature parks and reserves, and management processes of reclamation.

BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

The Biological Sciences course ENVIRONMENT IN COLLEGE HIGH - SAN FRANCISCO develops in the student a holistic view of the inseparable relationship between living beings and the environment, providing you with qualification for teaching at different levels of performance in teaching and research of relevant importance scene of life.

BIOMEDICINE

Degree: Bachelor of Biomedicine
Duration: 04 years and 06 months

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

The Course of Biomedicine COLLEGE ENVIRONMENT IN HIGH - SAN FRANCISCO aims to train professionals and / or expand their knowledge in the biomedical field, in order to make them able to:

work in clinical and laboratory diagnosis of diseases,

environmental control,

research in several areas. The course also aims at a systemic and humanistic education that enables students to understand the physical, social, political, economic and cultural context in which it is inserted and to make decisions with ethics in a diverse and interdependent world.

AREAS

Clinical Analysis (perform analysis, assume technical responsibility and sign their reports). Are legally competent to assume and perform the processing of blood, their serology tests and pre-transfussionais and is legally qualified to assume leadership techniques, and advising and directing these activities;

Environmental analysis (perform physical-chemical and microbiological tests for the sanitation of the environment);

Imaging (operates in the X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine (not including the interpretation of findings);
Molecular Biology (material collection, analysis, interpretation, signing and issuing of reports and technical advice);
Collection of materials (make any collection of biological samples to perform the kinds of tests, as well as supervise the respective fields of collecting biological material from any establishment that it is intended. Exceptions biopsies, collection of cerebrospinal fluid ( CSF) and puncture to obtain fluid cavities in any situation);
DNA (DNA Laboratory tests, assume technical responsibility and sign their reports);
