The Engineering School of Piracicaba (EEP) of the Municipal Foundation of Education, began in 1969 with the Civil Engineering course.
In his career, in all these years, has gained notoriety and public recognition for quality teaching and training professionals increasingly empowered to act with efficiency, creativity and responsibility in Engineering Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Management.
The EEP is installed in an area of 10 acres, corresponding to 240 thousand square meters. They're 12 thousand square meters of building housing the administration, classrooms, amphitheater, laboratories, libraries and food courts, besides the Cotypes - Technical and Industrial College of Piracicaba. The Central Library has a collection of approximately 13,500 items including books recorded, pamphlets, periodicals and monographs. Students of EEP have also, with soccer fields, sand court and sports courts and track minibaja.
Green predominates in extensive lawns and a range of 67.2 million meters square of forest.
Entrance to the Hall Prof. Justin Jose Castillo, the main amphitheater of the Fundação Municipal School of Piracicaba, where graduations are held [Cotypes as both the EEP), theatrical performances and many other activities geared to the public or not academic.
