In 1967 the city won Divinópolis a center of special education for the quality and focus. The establishment was called at the time by the School of Accountancy Divinópolis.
This estalecimento higher education, run by Don Bosco Society for Education and Culture SA LTD - SODBEC. Was authorized on September 8, 1969 through Federal Decree number 65,111, has been recognized by the Federal Decree number 74,497 on September 4, 1974.
Today, the institution called Faced - Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Accounting Divinópolis, has various courses in different areas of undergraduate and also graduate.
The institution also promotes various social and cultural projects, aimed not only education but also the interaction with students of the institution and the community.
The Don Bosco Society for Education and Culture, Inc., with the acronym SODBEC, is the entity maintains the Faculties of Economics and Administration and Accounting from Divinópolis of Art and Design, with its various courses, instituted to maintain the Don Bosco Gym and Insituto Cultural Don Bosco, for pre-university courses and reinforcement. It was designed to create a new entity and maintaining institutions of cultural and educational non-profit, with headquarters in Divinópolis and an indefinite term of duration. It became a limited company and consists of eight partners, administratively structured into a board and a supervisory board.
The SODBEC began in a meeting held on January 2, 1967 and approval of actions for the creation of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Accounting happened on July 8 of that year. |
