The focus is on learning and student development, through an education with an emphasis on skills, abilities, attitudes and knowledge applied.
The courses allow students an updated training and committed to promoting employability, the quality of their care and sustainability of its performance in the job market.
COLLABORATIVE EDUCATION NETWORK
A key differentiator of the Faculty Pythagoras is its distributed network of colleges in various regions of the country, comprised of the components of the academic project.
The Balanced Scorecard (BSC), according to its creators Robert Kaplan and David Norton, is both a measurement system, a management system and a communication tool. Pythagoras The School relied on this theory and used the concepts of the BSC for the preparation of their project courses. The creation of the BSC to the Academic Faculty Pythagoras was done by applying the original theory and its fundamental concepts in developing a course design consistent, explicit in its different aspects, and that is likely to be monitored by performance indicators and indicators economic well-defined.
A service of the didactic teaching-learning for training students and critical thinking, should emphasize the strategies by which students learn to internalize the concepts, skills and competencies. To this end, the School Pythagoras used the strategy to organize and develop learning activities that constitute instruments to deal practically with the reality, that is, solving problems, facing dilemmas, tomas decisions, formulate strategies for action.
LEARNING ACTIVITIES CAUSED (APAs)
Activities, digital or not digital, that can be used, reused or referenced during classroom activities or not, being an effective support tool for self learning. They are a new way of thinking and engage students in learning the content of each discipline.
The teaching-learning time is divided into: before, during and after class, which means the expansion of instructional time beyond the duration of the classes.
Before class, the teacher should develop a set of activities that allow students to advance the study, defining, among others, the texts to be read and learning materials for the student to delve into the subject, if desired. The goal is to make the moment of the class is more effective and more efficiently utilized.
For the moment after class material and learning activities used will be available to students during their training time. When a discipline requiring knowledge of some longer courses, students can revise it, remembering what was taught. He who miss a class you can still study what has been taught better chance to regain lost momentum.
A Center for Directed Studies (NED), formed by expert teachers develop activities that are undertaken by students in virtual form using the Portal University. The goal is to develop skills that are being required by the dynamics existing in all areas of knowledge.
The DEs are complementary activities grounded in an educational matrix that has three main skills: knowledge, reasoning is a critical and analytical and people skills.
