INTEGRAL TRAINING: To promote the creation, development and adaptation of scientific, technological, cultural, sports and humanities, engaging in finding solutions to the problems of society for the benefit of human and scientific development.

Scholarships

The Fellowship is an exemption in the payment of certain financial obligations provided by the University to students, following verification of compliance requirements to enable them to undertake or continue their studies at university.

TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIPS

The University may grant the following awards:

Full Scholarship. It is the exemption from payment of tuition and fees awarded by the University pre-selected students to enable them to undertake or continue their studies. The full scholarship may be awarded for various justifications such as: academic excellence, outstanding performance on the field or for economic reasons.

Media Fellowship. Is the release of payment of 50% of tuition and pensions given to students so they can continue their studies after verifying compliance with the terms of their concession.

Scholarship for academic excellence. The scholarship is awarded to students who have achieved outstanding academic performance with a minimum average score of 80 out of 100 on the subjects studied. In this case also assess the conduct of students applying for the scholarship.

Scholarship work. Is the release of a percentage in the payment of tuition and fees to students in exchange for the consideration of services to the university. The granting of this scholarship shall be made after analysis and evaluation of academic and professional background of the student and staff needs of the university.

Scholarship for outstanding representation. Consists of total or partial dispensation in the payment of tuition and grant free pensions for students to study at university, in recognition of outstanding performance in the field of research, culture and sport on behalf of University.

Procedures for granting scholarships

For the allocation of scholarships will take place the following procedure:
The student letter to the Rector of the University requested the grant award, explaining the reasons for your request. Career Directors also present at the conclusion of each term a report (backed by academic history) for students who have achieved excellent academic performance, recommending the granting of scholarships for academic excellence.

The University through a commission composed for effect, to evaluate the justifications provided by the student to obtain the scholarship.
In cases where the request is justified by economic reasons, the Commission will conduct an evaluation of student's socioeconomic status to determine the propriety of granting the scholarship.

The Commission according to the assessment, prepare and submit to the Board a report containing the findings and recommended list of students who are benefiting from the scholarship.

Formation of the Committee on Scholarships and Awards

The Scholarship and Awards Committee will have the responsibility to assess the qualifications of candidates to obtain these benefits and incentives will consist of the following members:
Chairman
Rector of the University

Academic Director. The Commission shall meet regularly during the academic recess periods.

Conditions to maintain the scholarship

The conditions for students to maintain the scholarship awarded by the University are:
Keep in academic excellence that led to the award of the scholarship.
Mostar good academic performance for students whose scholarship was granted for reasons other than academic excellence.
Maintain an impeccable and exemplary conduct.
Attend classes regularly.

Failure to comply with the conditions of the students benefit will result in the loss of the scholarship without any claim option.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: It is the responsiveness that the university address the impact and implications of their actions on the groups to which it relates, directing all their activities to the satisfaction of the needs and expectations of its members, society and of those who benefit from its business services and the care and preservation of the environment.

CRITICAL THINKING: The constructive thinking and evaluative thoughts, knowledge, processes, events and phenomena in the environment.

ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT: The University develops the capacity of people to create, build and realize a concept - solution, taking risks turning into reality.

Ethical sense: The University should be a consolidation center of the highest human values such as respect, tolerance, justice, equality and ensuring total training of the individual in its intellectual, ethical, and moral.
