The fundamental mission of the Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo" is the constant search for truth through research, conservation and communication of knowledge for the good of society.

Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo" professes the Catholic faith. It is open to all persons without distinction of religion, race or ideology. It calls for all students (as) from the Bolivian Catholic University stakeholders (as) who wish to arrange some form of grant for managing 2 / 2010, taking into account the following aspects:

1. CLASS OR CONDITIONS OF SCHOLARSHIP

a) Academic Excellence Scholarship
b) Grant socioeconomic
c) Scholarship sports
d) Cultural Grant
e) Scholarship for university employees and their children
f) Scholarship and religious

2. REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBLE FOR GRANTS

a) Academic Excellence Scholarship

Have at least five subjects in the preceding six months.
Be between the best grade point average of the previous half-year career.
Have a minimum continuous length of stay of one year in the UCB.
There have in the past six months no matter naught or disabled.
Have no outstanding debts with the UCB.
Register for the semester that postulated in the academic calendar dates set by taking a maximum of 30 credits.
The calculation of the percentages of scholarship awarded to students is always done on a maximum of 25 credits of academic rights (Article 3 of Regulation Fellowship UCB).
b) Grant socioeconomic

Have completed a minimum of one year of study at UCB.
Show, by specific evaluation by the University and a poor socioeconomic status.
Assist in any of the departments of the University according to a number of hours designated by the Scholarship Committee.
There have in the past six months no matter naught or disabled. The average academic performance should reflect a less than 65 percent.
Have no outstanding debts with the UCB.
Register for the semester that postulated in the academic calendar dates set by taking a maximum of 30 credits.
The calculation of the percentages of scholarship awarded to students is always done on a maximum of 25 credits of academic rights (Article 3 of Regulation Fellowship UCB).
c) Scholarship sports

Be presented by the Catholic University Club, as an athlete featured in one of its approved sports for the next administration.
Have completed a minimum of one year of study at UCB.
There have in the past six months no matter naught or disabled. The average should reflect a good academic performance.
Have no outstanding debts with the UCB.
Register for the semester that postulated in the academic calendar dates set by taking a maximum of 30 credits.
The calculation of the percentages of scholarship awarded to students is always done on a maximum of 25 credits of academic rights (Article 3 of Regulation Fellowship UCB).
d) Cultural Grant

Be presented by the Catholic University Club, in recognition of the activities developed in the cultural field in the UCB, approved for the next administration.
Have completed a minimum of one year of study at UCB.
There have in the past six months no matter naught or disabled. The average should reflect a good academic performance.
Have no outstanding debts with the UCB.
Register for the semester that postulated in the academic calendar dates set by taking a maximum of 30 credits.
The calculation of the percentages of scholarship awarded to students is always done on a maximum of 25 credits of academic rights (Article 3 of Regulation Fellowship UCB).
e) Scholarship for University employees and their children

Being the son (a) of any officer or teacher at the UCB or work in this institution in the above functions.
Have completed a minimum of one year of study at UCB.
The teacher or administrative officer of the University to have an antiquity of at least two years without interruption of services at the UCB.
Have no outstanding debts with the UCB.
Register for the semester that postulated in the academic calendar dates set by taking a maximum of 30 credits.
The calculation of the percentages of scholarship awarded to students is always done on a maximum of 25 credits of academic rights (Article 3 of Regulation Fellowship UCB).
f) Scholarship and religious

Being religious (a) an active member of the Bolivian Catholic Church.
Have completed a minimum of one year of study at UCB.
Introducing the note of support or approval of the Superior who is responsible for pastoral services.
There have in the past six months no matter naught or disabled.
This type of grant is considered for all courses offered by the UCB, except religious races taking place in the Regional Unit of Cochabamba, meaning that this type of grant is exclusive to the careers of Theology (Biennium Philosophic) Missiology and Pastoral Theology.
Willingness to collaborate with Campus Ministry activities, if required.
Have no outstanding debts with the UCB.

The calculation of the percentages of scholarship awarded to students is always done on a maximum of 25 credits of academic rights (Article 3 of Regulation Fellowship UCB).
3. ALLOCATION PROCEDURE

a) Academic Excellence Scholarship

The management of the race shall review and submit to the Scholarship Committee the best averages of the semester, a week after the exams scheduled for the last session.
This procedure must be met each semester, because the duration of the grant covers only the semester requested.

b) Grant socioeconomic

To determine the percentage of the grant, it is based on the index, describing the family's economic situation. This percentage may be increased or reduced according to the average obtained notes last semester.

c) Scholarship sports

The Club UCB will receive applications from those college athletes who express in writing their desire to become a beneficiary (a) of this type of scholarship. And on the basis of a technical report will assess whether it is appropriate to go to the Scholarship Committee for evaluation. It also takes into account academic performance last semester.

d) Cultural Grant

The Club UCB will receive applications for the university students participating in some cultural activities, which express in writing their desire to become a beneficiary (a) of this type of scholarship. And on the basis of the official report will assess the area from which go to the Scholarship Committee. It also takes into account academic performance last semester.

4. STEP NECESARIOSPARA DOCUMENTS

a) Academic Excellence Scholarship

Application letter addressed to Career Management, requesting the scholarship.
Updated photo size 3 x 4 cm (if recurring application, no longer accurate).
Submit this documentation to the Career Management.
b) Grant socioeconomic

Section Box gather and submit the scholarship application specific (one for those already counted Scholarship last semester and one for new applicants).
Documents certifying income (pay slips, budget details, affidavits) of the family of the applicant (only for those who argue for the first time).
Documents evidencing expenses (bills or water bills, electricity, telephone, boarding school, rent, etc) of the family of the applicant (only for those who argue for the first time).
Updated photo size 3 x 4 cm (if recurring application, no longer accurate).
Submit this documentation to the Department of Public Relations.
c) Scholarship sports

Club Deportivo Letter requesting that it include in the list of fellows for the current administration, previous interview with the head of the Club and acceptance of its proposal.
In the case of a recurring application (more than once), having the form of "Performance Evaluation", issued and signed in advance by the head of the Club UCB.
Updated photo size 3 x 4 cm (if recurring application no longer accurate).
Submit this documentation to the Department of Public Relations.
d) Cultural Grant

Letter to the Scholarship Committee requests to be included in the list of fellows for the current administration, after meeting with the Secretary of the Scholarship Committee and acceptance of its proposal.
In the case of a recurring application (more than once), having the form of "Performance Evaluation", issued and signed in advance by the Secretary of the Scholarship Committee.
Updated photo size 3 x 4 cm (if recurring application, no longer accurate).
Submit this documentation to the Department of Public Relations.
e) Scholarship for University employees and their children

Specific application form (available at Office of Public Affairs.)

f) Scholarship and religious

Require the note of support or approval of the Superior who is responsible for pastoral services.
Verify that the Superior submits a note to the Scholarship Committee at the time set by the timing of the call.
