FASTA University (Fellowship Groups Aquinas), it is, according to the definition of Pope Paul VI, as a community of teachers, students and staff engaged in the search for truth through: the human formation, leading to the development of a worldview in constant renewal and the harmonious development of the skills needed to live by them, the research, to enhance the cultural heritage through the exercise of professions and the teaching of theoretical, practical, artistic and technical, for the proper exercise of the profession.
On August 16, 1991 the Ministry of Culture and National Education authorized the creation of the Universidad FASTA, approving the start of their academic activities since 1992. On 10 April of that year, in solemn academic ceremony, held the official opening before 500 guests in the city of Mar del Plata and Buenos Aires province, the national university education subsystem private initiative of foreign universities, of the various educational works FASTA across the country, authorities, teachers and students. Considering the importance for university educational institutions to internationalize their relationships, FASTA University focuses its efforts through the International Affairs Office, in managing international cooperation, seeking permanent contact with universities around the world that result cooperation agreements and exchange.
For this it is essential to promote within the university, the need to establish cooperative links with the main goal of improving teaching and research programs. In this regard, we need the encouragement of students and teachers for their active participation in international programs.
The area of international relations at the University intends to: make possible the integration and cultural and academic exchange at the international level, to support training of teachers and graduates Quaternary; encourage study abroad for students, facilitate the development of activities and international programs, organize and disseminate information for the area and increase the number of agreements signed with foreign institutions. To do this, with their expertise, advice on an individual basis to students who want to make exchange experiences, develop new contacts with universities abroad and arranges courses and programs in language and culture of Argentina for foreigners.
