Institutional vision of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies is to promote and implement a unique link between academia and real transformation process in Romania. Thus, constantly pursues the goal SNSPA training professionals able to contribute with their knowledge, the development and management of public policies in state institutions, to develop the country's international relations, business organization and management in private companies, to optimize communication and building the image of the country or firm.

Consistent with the mission assumed SNSPA produce, promote and transmit knowledge through teaching, research, discussion, documentation and publication as developing skills in political science, administrative, social, economic and communication contribute to national and international changes and developments reference range, in the spirit of democratic values and principles, of openness to European and international cooperation.

National School of Political and Administrative Studies is a public institution of higher education and research (university), with legal personality.
National School of Political and Administrative Studies (hereinafter SNSPA) was founded as a postgraduate education institution with legal personality under Romanian Government Decision no. 183 of 1991, incorporating in its structure the former Faculty of Policy Studies, University of Bucharest. By H.G. no. 542 1995 SNSPA obtained the right to organize and preparation of degree in political science and public administration, and subsequent communication and public relations. By this decision, SNSPA is defined as public higher education institution with legal personality, subordinated to the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation.

All specialties at graduation and master SNSPA are accredited or certified to operate. Thus, all are accredited masters ARACIS Bologna, as mentioned in the OM no. 4936/2008. By GD. 749/2009 are accredited in all specialties SNSPA license, Psychology and Advertising specialties are start-ups are allowed. Also by GD. 749/2009 ID specializations are accredited Public Administration, Communication and Public Relations and Political Science specializing authorized.
National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA) held doctoral university in the following areas: political science, administrative science, sociology and communication sciences.

Institution Quality of Doctoral Studies (IOSUD) in the areas mentioned is validated by the National Certification of Titles, University Diplomas and Certificates (CNATDCU) and certified by Order of the Minister of Education and Research no. 4212 / 20 July 2000, for political science, no. 4816 / 23 October 2001, for administrative sciences, no. 3304 / 28 February 2008 for the fields of sociology and communication sciences.

SNSPA operate on university autonomy, understood as a means of self-specific and exercise of academic freedom within the framework of the Romanian Constitution, the Education Act or other legislation of a statutory nature and its own regulations, which take account of specific principles of the Bologna Declaration establishing a "European Higher Education Area. National School of Political and Administrative Studies shares the principles stipulated in the Magna Charta of European University (Bologna, 1988) and the Bologna Declaration (1999). Public nature of the institution involves the assumption of duties and responsibilities consistent with the values and criteria for specific operation of public sector efficiency: providing equal learning opportunities for all students, by reference only to their abilities and motivations and not for reasons of material wealth; sensitivity to social and economic conditions Romanian and European interests to students / graduates to acquire those skills that make him fit to competitive careers and to improve social and economic status, promotion and development of values that relate quality, trust, responsibility and accountability to citizens and to the immediate beneficiaries - students.
