For the purposes of the overall mission statement of the Medical University of Graz, the resulting principles and standards for professional staff development:

The staff at the Medical University of Graz itself as a strategic partner in implementing the overall objectives of the organization. Innovation, quality and advanced processes are associated with a holistic view of people and performance. Opportunities for all employees regardless of gender, age, ethnicity and religion as well as adequate ways of implementing career objectives, potential development and staff satisfaction are key elements of the PE mission statement.

1st Diploma studies

The course lasts for two semesters of study 12. To the graduates of diploma programs en awarded the degree "Doctor" or "doctor" with a distinctive addition the study will be presented.

2nd Doctoral Studies
The doctoral studies, serve on the graduate study beyond the development of the ability for independent scientific work. Prerequisite for admission to doctoral studies is the conclusion of a diploma program. The doctoral studies consist of a study in the period of four or six semesters, which ends with an oral examination. Admission to the oral examination is the approval of a scientific work (dissertation advance). To the graduates of doctoral studies en the academic degree "doctor" or "doctor" with a distinctive addition the study will be awarded.

3rd Bachelor and Master studies

4th Individual studies
Regular students are entitled to apply for the connection of subjects from different diploma, bachelor's or master's degree programs to an individual study. This request must contain, among other things: the name of the course, the skill profile, the study, the test subjects, the examination and the desired degree.

5th Mitbelegung / ao studies
A Mitbelegungone at the MUG entitled to attend each course, as a non-listeners / in.
Where a / s student, not only at the university from which he / she was admitted, but to visit at another university, some lectures and take exams, then he / she is at this university as Mitbeleger / in the site. A Mitbelegung is possible only during the registration period for each semester. The following documents shall be submitted for a Mitbelegung with us:
